due to space issues?

what the hell?
the only reason i came down there EVER was to get the 7 heads together ....

looks like we'll need to find something else for an excuse to get together over the summer ..

ideas?

 

The word I got is that they are not going to cut off at a early year ,1968 and down .My information is we can get in first come first parked .No junk ,or hoppers, loud boom boxes as before .The lot will be open to 450 cars as of now.We will go in on the road beside the Auto Auction building and exit the other side .My info comes from the MHRC member that has been trying to get me to join the club .The first cruise in will be the first Friday in May . In the Lowes parking lot,not behind Sears .

 

will someone explain to me how this cruise in goes? i have heard about it but i dont know how it goes down. is it like a car show, where you sit in front of your car all day? or just come in and hang out for a while?

 

does "cruise-in" sound very structured?? you just get there and hang out... then go eat... we all "try" to park together and hang around davids car, but that's just to get suntans off the reflection of the motor...

 

Hours are from 5 pm to 9 pm, on the average night 300 to 400 cars last year . The biggest night over 750 cars parked with more turned away .You name it and you may see it during the summer if it is show quality .or very high dollar .Many people looking at the cars and many like to talk ,some have good looking girl friends and wifes .All of them know more about the rotary motor than me .

 

hahaha... you know it. If I had a nickel for everytime someone has come up to one of my 7's and started telling me about what I had(and they didn't have a snowballs chance in hell at getting it right), I'd have a Bugatti sitting next to my 7.

 

No, it doesn't. But if they are "only allowing domestics" then it does sound like there are some rules and regulations, and i didnt know what they were. Thank you.

 

READ my first reply they are opening it to us as well unless you are in a junk, hopper and with loud music .

hmmm. . . so basically, we need to schedule it this year. i doubt wed see more than 20 rxwhatnots show up at one time so that number pretty much covers us.

 

i heard about that happening this year with the cruise in, but i wasnt sure on what was actually happening. why did they move it to lowes? more parking spots?

 

the mall is doing construction in the area that they used to park in.
