yea its been a while ... i think 3 years ago was the last time i saw reese... well it was the 6 flags thing i think. and now he has a 3 rotor.... DAM... and ill see about getting the video camera and mount it in the car so ill tape this.... and we can have proof that new has them MaD FD DrIvIn SkIlLs. Man, you need to learn to type. I cna't take the FD up there until I get some springs/coilovers in. This car sucks compared to the 1st gen in handling. I definately won't set any speed records with this car. I do want to see Reese's setup though. :-)

Last year Mini Couper club had over 400 Cars at the Deals Gap.. I've heard they are expecting close to 600 cars at Deals Gap. I think Leo was joking about us getting close to 1000.. Or maybe type.. I'm hoping 100.

 

i was pmed about compression tests. prices are for a STOCK car...(fc's and fd are more of a pain to get to the plugs)
sa22c-fb (78-85) $50.
na fc (86-91) $55.
turbo fc (86-91) $60 much tighter trying to get to the plugs.
fd (93-95) $65 MAJOR pain to get to the plugs I have to get the plugs from the bottom.
RX-8's 1st 8 will get a free test (might have this done before the meet) it looks open like a fb so ill guess $50-55.
If you want the plugs replaced while im under the hood add $15 and have the plugs with you. I'll have the BLING BLING alum. jack with me to help with the fd's

Yeah, 100 would be good. 400 rotaries might scare all the wildlife in the area away. 1000 in one area might create another Los Angeles.

Yeah I was just kidding, in reality I hope we get between 100-150. Yeah 1000 would definitely create a hole in the o-zone

 

We had 35 rotaries at the GRR of NC and when they all lined up for the Bahama drive your eyes would start watering if you rolled down your window. 1000 rotaries would defoliate the forest and kill all wildlife 5 miles downwind of the Dragon. We'd have to have an Environmental Impact Study done and approved by the Feds if we get over 300 rotaries to congregate in the same area for more than 10 minutes.

Just got my car running yesterday. Still have some little things to work out. I'm down for a more experienced Rx mechanic to come help. We could all (aka people around here) get together and work out little bugs before making the 8 hour trip from the cherry point area .... just a thought.

In anycase, put me down for a Large. I'll do everything I can to be ready for the trip.

 

i will certainly come, it is very close to my house, if any help is needed i live at lake lanier.

 

I just talked with a Harley guy here at work and he said that we need to drive down The Cherohala Scenic Skyway sometime during the trip. It is supposed to be a beautiful drive.

 

i got the okay from april. . . somehow. . . i think the scenic setting kinda cushioned it a bit. hahahaha. there may be a chance that shell be out of town all that month for groomers training. . . FREE TICKET!!!!

Yeah Ive lost so many brain cells from working on rotories. Now even my FD has a small exhaust leak after the downpipe. The only good thing is my wife refuses to ride in the car with me so I don't know If i'm going to ever fix that or not. ( Shes already not allowed to drive it as it is )
