im looking for some guys in the spartanburg area with fc's to hang out and race with. im also very good with these cars and love rotary's and have alot of tech tips to offer so let me know and we will start our own evolution together! look forward to hearing from you guys.

This is pretty funny. If you have a fellow Rx-7 friend, why do you want to race him. It's just not the same as the Honda "anything you can do I can do better" between each rotard. But this just adds to the crazy **** I hear coming from Spartanburg on a regular basis. lol.

Welcome to the forums, but that is pretty weird if you told Greg you wanted to blow him.... I'm hoping you meant racing but I doubt you'd have a chance. lol.

Dunno, I've been busy as a one legged man in an *** kicking contest. I'm in Conway/Myrtle Beach area now and just wrapping up 13 hours of work. I'm planning on coming home on Friday night, maybe put an hour or 2 on your mani too. I should have it ready Saturday evening. Also, I got that TII scoop that you recommended. It's like 1.5" too small... maybe they sent the wrong one.

Anybody got a stock TII hood insert?

jamin, i told you that if you wanted to get rid of ur Tii hood, that i have an alluminum NA hood that i would trade.

greg, if the LIM is done by sunday, that would work out perfect!! the plan is to get the car running on sunday and get some miles on the clutch. and what do you mean its too small? raise hell with shine and they will take car of you.

no im not getting rid of my TII hood.. i like it, i just wish it had a more aerodynamic scoop piece. ive seen some where the vents are facing up, reverting air upwards instead of through the scoop, but a smaller scoop would work too

 

The one I have doesn't fit a stock hood. Still wanna get rid of yours? My wife is on the IOP lounging on the beach while I pull mad hours to get a project back on schedule..... Maybe she can pick it up tomorrow. Toby, Mason, and Tray all have my # if you wanna call. She's leaving to come home sometime tomorrow (Friday).

I'm aiming to have it done on Sat. Feel free to come over and help, or if you wanna learn how to polish, you can get some hands on.

I didn't raise hell with Shine... no yet. You get more bees with honey.. or however that phrase goes. I just sent them a email insinuating that they accidentally sent me the wrong one. They replied today and seem to wanna work it out, so, we'll see.

 

no im keeping the stock hood, i thought you had a smaller scoop piece for the stock scoop
