Knoxville Mazda Meets ........
do you have any pics of the 240?
ok, so heres a mini photo documentary in my progress stripping the FC and pulling the drivetrain. and if anyone else may know, i have no clue where this ECU came from, it doesent look original, and the manufacturer is jet performance. it has a tuning date on it from 1998.

Heh, didnt mean to ignore you Jimi, just couldnt read your posts from my phone D: But maybe if Josh there eventually doesnt like the green beasty you can snag if from him, as he took possession of it sometime before noon today.
Gonna go look at the gxl this upcoming thursday and see just what it 'may' need. I might leave it NA, but wont be doing anything that will get scrapped when I do a turbo swap (which means no exhaust save gutting cats). Hopefully the only thing itll need is actual RX7 wheels to tide me over (has some generic 7 or 9 spoke 17 or 18" motegi's from the looks of it) until I find wheels that'll suit my tastes (im thinking either MS01's or some watanabe look alikes, but would love some MS01's). But im sure Ill figure something out, just has to run occasionally until i'm ready to pull the drivetrain for a T2 setup and front mount (might have to learn to weld for that install), IIRC all I need to change sensorwise is the pressure sensors (the one under the hood and add the one in the kickpanel).
Jeremy, I think I want to snag the wheels back, though not so sure about keeping the hoosiers on em (i know 2 were corded when you got em from me).

so i ended up doing quite a dramatic tune up last night, ended up having to remove the valve cover and oil seal gaskets b/c 2 of the boots broke off and got stuck in the plug ports, removing the valve cover freed up just enough space for me to stick a needle nose set down there and lift them out. but after i replaced the plugs, wires, and cleaned the dizzy, it made a world of difference. no more miss fire and shes got her twin cam torque back!
Gentlemen,
I've killed off a bunch of this thread where a car is actually bartered and sold outside of the Classifieds board.
As I have been made aware...
Please keep it to the classifieds, and the chit chat to PM's.
Thanks.
~DF

Shhhh Derrick... you're gonna get us all killed for bartering in a residential thread! PM me. Unless they're watching those, too.
