Yeah, let's hope for better weather next time. And some paint. Paint for everyone! Sunday is usually best for me so I'll vote for the 10th. Maybe we can have our swap meet then as well. I have plenty of leftover car guts to get rid of.

Come on out Marcus, you and the SCF crew are always welcome at our meets.

Little update on that... SCF is meeting on Saturday, and there's an autocross at Pellissippi on Sunday. Pellissippi events usually wrap up around 5, so we could still have our meet afterward. Or we could just move it to the autocross and encourage everyone to put their car where their mouth is. What do you guys think?

I'm planning on it, bolted together or not. If you're running after me you'll have to dodge cones and Cheeto parts.

I'm definitely down for a meet this weekend. I'll try to bring my new 7.

Oh, I'll also be at the autox this weekend, though I won't be running quite yet. It will be nice to see some rotary rockets out there.

Hey everybody!!! Great to finally see a new thread. I'm down for the 10th with or without auto x. I have been working on the seven recently and wanted to show off the rare front bumper eliminator kit that needs a lot of body work, but dropped like 40-50 pounds off the front end.

Also does anyone have any stock fb springs sitting around that they don't need.
I have a fiberglass spoiler that I don't want if anyone wants a spoiler. It is the better wraparound one.

Oh yea and I painted the front black so the car is only 2 colors instead of 3.

Next on the list is starter, and upgrading the ignition, oh yea and getting the Koseis back on. 15s look so much better. anywho c yal sun

DDIIIIIIIBBBBBBBSSSSSS!

There's a guy on CList selling a pair of rear stock FB springs, but he wants a bill. You could get new pair of RB's for the same price. There's also an SA at Pullapart that probably still has them.

i was offered a chance to work 2 full days of overtime this weekend, so there was no way i was about to turn it down. had me a holding deposite on a '84 Gsl-Se but i took it back. does anyone know where i can find an FB body from any year 83-85 for about 500 bucks? if so let me know and i'll buy. i'm also in the market for an Fc n/a for a dailey driver. looked at an Mx-6 but the guy failed to mention that it needed 2 front calipers and a wheel barings in the CL ad.

Great meet guys. Thanks to everyone who showed up (Donnie.) For the rest of you, it was a pretty exciting event. They tried something new: Two course layouts in one event! They had a course set up and everyone got 3 laps. Then they changed up the course, had a short walkthrough time, and everyone got 3 laps on the new course. It ran surprisingly smoothly, at least up until the end: A Mustang chose a line that somewhat exceeded the boundaries of the parking lot. And then right after we put the cones up, a few hot air balloons landed on the course. Oh, and the Cheeto blew an apex seal, caught fire, and had to be pushed into the duck pond. I'll be running it at the next event on the 30th.

Only some of that is BS.

FYI, the autocross has been scooted over to Sunday, the 31st - presumably to appease the nutjobs who celebrate the Lord Satan's Day on Saturday because they can't deal with Halloween falling on Sunday. Attendance is mandatory... if you don't come, then... well... rape. I have to find a costume for Cheeto now. I'm thinking it could go as either an orange or a Porsche.

I was either working the corner (hold the jokes) or riding along with Bonnie (Orange GTI). This was her first Pellissippi event so I rode with her the whole time.

You coming to the Halloween event? I hear someone is having a party Saturday night so we better take it easy on the Power Hour

Also there's a charity event for United Way at Adessa on November 20th. It's not on the official schedule yet but they talked about it at the last event. They're opening up a larger section of the lot so it should be a giant course, and they're going to have a car show and maybe a lights and sirens run with the local police department. Should be a lot of fun.

Hey if you need miles on your car just drop it by and I'll drive it to work all week Sorry I don't have any of those parts. Maybe one of the long A/C compressor bolts would fit that UIM? It's a long shot.

I'll be there, just follow the smoke. Jeremy, you still want to try an A/C bolt? I found one.

Since it's Halloween, feel free to "dress up" your cars.

tons of parts

Hey everybody! I went to Ohio this weekend with my friend richard to get a low mileage 82 7. He has a 85 gslse already, but the rotary bug bit him hard. So we get up there it was beautiful came with a rebuilt atkins rotary, and a few parts tires wheels etc. The guy has a garage full of 1st and 2nd gen rx7 stuff. A lot of t2 housings and irons. I poped the question "What do you want for all of it". He thinks while we are loading the car, then he comes back really reasonable and we take him up on it. We got TONS of stuff. Piled the car full on my 16' trailer, piled stuff around the car. Then we piled my 15 pas panel van down. If it wasn't a diesel we would not have made it back to knoxville. I will post up some pics soon but in the mean time who needs parts. Jeremy I got the stuff that you need. Im prob just going to make a list of what I have and post it up or bring it to the next meet.

The second stroke of rx7 luck that I had last week was I met the previous owner of rotary specialists a shop in denver colarado. This guy is an amazing wealth of knowledge. He lives in knox now after selling his business. He has been out of the rx7 loop for awhile but still could tell me everything about a 7 I asked. I told him about our meets, and wants to come to the next one.

Also Im starting a radical street port t2 build so watch out.

oh yea and Jimmy I think I'm working on your neibors house in crestwood hills I saw a seven there last week.

Im out, Charlie

Whoa, Charlie I think you need to have a garage sale. There's 3 first gens in my neighborhood that I know of right now... what color was the one you saw?
