Its the first Thursday of the month coming up again and I figured I throw this out there. Its been awhile since ive been out to a meet so im kinda jonesing.

Post Up if you are interested in attending. As always with summer time its busy up there so there are alway tones of Ricers to laugh at.

Saw it the other weekend at the drive-in with MI3. Not a bad movie, has some good Rotary sounds at appropriate times.

Directions:
We are right across the I-75/85 Connector from Georgia Tech.

From Southbound 75/85: Get off at exit 249D, turn left and you will see The Varsity on the left immediately across the bridge.

From Northbound 75/85: Get off at exit 249D, go across Spring St. to West Peachtree St. and turn left. Go to North Ave. and turn left again. Follow North Ave. until you see The Varsity on the right.
From Marta: On the North-South Line, get off at the North Ave. Station and go west on North Ave. until you see The Varsity on the right.

so um, that was horrible, not ony was there no parking, police telling me I couldn't get my #4 but tire smoke was everywhere from people doing burnouts in the middle of a crowd.

 

I was there in my crusty *** white GXL with my buddy in his 86.5 supra. Parked on the top deck across from the doors into the varsity. Got there at about 9 and left... sometime after the varsity closed. If you heard a belt squeel at any time that was probably my car . Started it at the same time as my buddy so hopefully people thought it was him instead of me lol.

Didnt get to meet any 7 owners though.

Cops made us park in the lower parking lot, towards the back middle. So the drill is if you get there early, you'll be in the middle. If you get there late, you'll be on the sides or in the upper deck.

Actually it was near perfect, the Lot is owned by the Varsity and they were more than gratious to hold the multi-car club meat on private properly. The cops drove there from Dekalb and were there on tax payer money to supervise and keep anyone from getting hurt. They were not intrusive or abusive, and I think they were car guys as well.
