Jacksonville Meet
its the ambulance training course for the fire school in st augustine. Its just rented out by the corvette club for their track days, but they dont have enough people to pay for it so they let other cars come to. we normally outnumber the vettes 2 to 1. I am running this saturday, I may have a couple other cars with me, but not sure as of now. your welcome to come along just to check it out if you want. And there is no shame in your other cars, my other car is a jetta, LOLOLOL

OH its alot less than that. Its basically the equivalent of an scca course, but an actual course instead of cones in a parking lot. It takes me (so far) about 48 seconds to get around it.
And another thought, is that if we can get 16-20 cars together, we cloud rent out Gainsville Raceways road course. It would be a little over $100 a piece.

We should do a rotary Top Gear Day. I want to be Jeremy.
Track Event
I think Wayne and I will be there Saturday morning at around 9am. We'll either be in his Bimmer or my MP5. Just clearing my schedule today. I really want to find out what it takes to rent the track for a day if it's a fun course and it fits our needs, I'll look into Mazda sponsoring the day and we can all pay a small fee to attend. I'll just need help organizing and promoting.

Sounds cool. I'd be down with trying to rent out G-Ville road course. Its kinda small, 1 car at a time, but you can bust out a couple of laps on it. I've driven the 7 on it before, as well as an M5, M3, MR2, and some other stuff. You can set cones on it to create a path with more straights or curves. I'd recommend doing something like that in December or January though, as the cooler weather makes it much more bearable. I'm sure I could also get a few non-rotary guys to go, one of which has a GT-R.... We'd probably need about, 15 cars.
only 1 car at a time? i think not. Been to gvrrc events and its not like that.

I think the G'ville track is a great idea. Personally, I think my FC will actually be ready for the road course this fall. So, we want to shoot for G'ville course in October-ish? How about in the interim this summer, we find a large area of tarmac and just set up some cones for fun and I still want to put a meet together either at Girvin or Castaway. If I have the FC done in time, I'll try to make the Tilted Kilt meet. Who's going down to St. Augustine Saturday?
