well guys, we COULD just make it a track day meet. I did this event several times last year, and it is a blast. Its an actual road course, not a bunch of cones spread out in a parking lot. what do you think?

Really? I went to four of them last year, and they were ok. Then again the imports out numbered the corvettes 2 to 1, so they couldn't complain since we were basically funding the day, LOLOL

Peter, is Tom Bush still sponsoring the big meets? Kept in touch with Sam Ollie--he used to bring the see-thru rotary?
Getting excited. Lots of parts ordered and arriving. I'm trying to get this thing done in a month so I can help out again. I don't want to show up in a Mazda P5 or Honda Odyssey

I'm not going to make the next race meet without the 7. Again, don't want to show up in the P5 or Odyssey--though the P5 would be fun for track day.
my official build out list not in any particular order:
1. Install new wheels 17x8 +35 Rota Torques
2. Install PowerFC: modified trailing coil, FD AIT sensor, 3 bar MAP sensor, wideband O2 sensor, 720cc primaries and 1000cc secondaries, dyno tune at SpeedFab
3. Tanabe downpipe, Apexi N1 dual catback
4. Prothane master bushings kit
5. swap back to stock headlights.
6. replace antenna mast
7. New tie rod ends--all 4
8. clean and reinstall FTP lenses.
9. install innovate wideband gauge.
10. Choose, order install body kit. Fiil a small ding on rear quarted and get the car sprayed. Staying with stock Blaze Red.

I used to organize the meets between us and the G'ville guys. Those were great meets. I'm sure we can get that way again. I've already go approval from the wife to help out with meets and finish the 7. FULL PERMISSION!

Nice. Nothing like getting full permission. Fc's are actually my favorite 7. Something about the body style makes me As soon as I have a house with a garage, I will have one of those too What part of town do you live on? I am very excited about getting some kind of rotary community together here in Jax. I have tried in the 8 forums, but there is only one other guy in Jax who ever gets out.
I still have all the photos from all the old meets too. I'll bring the iPad with all the photos for everyone to reminisce over. I think I have the photos from the really large meet we had at Castaway Island Preserve off of San Pablo. There must have been 50 or 60 rotaries there that day.

Dan made the last meet, brought some tasty pulled pork with his smoker. Tom Bush hasn't sponsered anything in a long time. I haven't seen Sam in forever either. We've just been throwing it together as we can. I think Tilted Kilt would be fun, plus we can sit in air conditioning or at the bar which straddles outside/inside (if I recall). In either event, be fun.

ok, so do we want to set up something small, kind of a meet and greet, then go from there? I know James (sherriganfc) goes up to Sonics every now and then on saturdays, and as much as I hate that particular scene, it might be a good start. thoughts?
