idemitsu is some good stuff, i have used it since i got my motor in and it does not stink or smoke, its a clear oil and burns clean, not even had problems with the plugs fouling and i think the omp still works, its just not worth the risk, you never know when they want to go

i would shy away from the Royal Purple. stick with castrol in the engine and use Either Idemitsu Rotary Fuel lube or Castrol synthetic pre-mix which can be found at any motorcycle shop.
pre-mix will not hurt your fuel filter in a matter of days unless it was already on it's way out haha. i have pre-mixed for years and it's the only way to go even if you still have the omp because THEY JUST ARE NOT SUFFICIENT ON THEIR OWN

Mazda did issue a TSB saying not to use any synthetics in the 13b. I personally use Valvoline durablend as it has rated higher than most synthetics that cost twice as much.
OR if not using synthetic i like Kendall GT-1.
I used to be a believer in Mobile 1 but never again

About the fuel filters, I said using regular engine oil for premix can mess with some filters. But since no one listens to me anyway...... O'well..... On a good note, I finished up editing my video from our little run Sunday . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMO1X6hRfNg

You know......I've never thought of doing that. It would give a different perspective. I think it would be like riding in the back of my mom's '79 Plymouth Grand Fury station wagon that head the seat in the rear that faced backwards. Always made me car sick! I'll have to try it and see how it turns out. I don't know if it would cause a weird reflection being that close to the hatch. We shall see .

I've seen him driving around down here too. Tried to flag him down a couple times and no success. It's definitely a daily driver for somebody. I've also seen a stock looking MB FD a few times uptown.

I took some shots of my engine bay since I added the fans, moved the alternator, deleted the AC and few other things.
Thought some folks might enjoy seeing whats been done so far.
I have more up on Flickr

So, Tim. Are you trying to compete with Ray on the cleanest engine bay? You know, before you started hanging out with us, you weren't really into doing all the mods. See what happens when you start hanging out with a buch of rough necks. Maybe that little ride in the Turbo FB will get you thinkng about hanging a little snail on the side of that engine next . I hope the next meet I'm not the only one with a video camera. I would love to get a couple of in car shots from different cars. That would be a killer video!

so i got the 13b tore down today and damn. the front rotor, rotor housing are beat all to hell. but the rear still looks like its brand new. no scarring or anything. im prolly going to buy 2 s4`s this evening that got rolled but still run for 350 bucks. so if anyone needs any parts start making a list and ill let you all know when and if i get the cars.
