I just want to say thanks to all the other ricers that were at the ice cream place. It just reminded me why i dont have a honda, acura, toyota, or a 4 banger mustang with a muffler, neon lights, and a system.

Good times.......Good times..........When we left I thought Josh took off. As I got on I77, I noticed hime poking along (waiting for me). We decided to "play". I think we shot enough flames for the whole crew! My nephew was giggling like a little school girl the whole time. He has never hung out with the tuner crowd. He finally conceded that the tuners may have something for those muscle cars

just got back from ZOOM-FEST. What a great time!! Awsome showing of rx7's!! ALL gens had a showing, even a cosmo JC Eunos 3 rotor was there and it was freakin mint. And the owner was proud to tell you it was I guess he could be though!! Only downside is it is an auto What a waste..
Lapping day yesterday for everyone was great as well. I think Stu is now going to want to be boy racer as well as me!
PDX today for me,... Lets just say, that if you "think" you are a good driver,..and think when watching races.." Hell I could go faster than him thru there....TRY IT!!! Haha!! VERY humbling experience. I did not do horrible but it is ALOT harder than you think. Throw out just about everything you know about driving except car control.Once you are at speed, it is amazing how the closing rates on corners and everything else is way different. As your body( mine at least) is trained for closing rates and reaction times at around 60 mph or less. Add 5 mph and holly hell is it different.
I only had 2 incidents. 1 coming out of turn 10 B heading up the hill right hander,..First I turned in to 10A too late which unbalanced the car That then lead to me feeding too much right foot and drifting up the hill Instructor woohooing the whole time! thankfully.
Then same lap next turn since I boiled the tires and lost concentration, I missed the apex of turn 12 and pushed out to the edge...and beyond! Only dropped the leftsides off but created a dust tornado behind me. got it back on track smoothly and proceeded to get black flagged Came in got my wrist slapped and headed back out for more fun in the first session. NO damage at all in either deal Just ego!
Second session I am headed down the back straight coming to turn 10A Back off at 110(speed limit was 95...oops!!) Hit the brakes, then Uh Oh!! Had to catch a MOUTHFULL of vomit I apparently had some bad "free hospitality" food and was wreching All night long...and then on track!! Luckily pit road is right there and I got off track in the pits out of the car and out of the helmet and unleashed projectiles!!! That was the end of my PDX weekend!! Haha! What a way to go out.
Anyways, I got my first sessions under my belt and in the log book. I am on my way to Raceville! Eventually.
BTW: Took a session riding with my instructor in his new Z06 405hp R compound wearing beast. WOW! Equal cars between us, unfair skill difference. Good fun. I think Stu has some video of me and others on track. Alot of rx7's took advantage of the PDX and oddly enough NONE violated the quiet time ordinanceWooHoo

Sam went to the pull a part this morning, and I caught up with him later. They had a good car down there. Some ******* (yeah, pissed enough for me not to sensor it) put a freakin fender through the back glass... it had no wiper! I wanted it for my car to get rid of the purple tint. But noooo..
Anyways, I five fingered me a new gas cap, so now taking turns won't spill some gas out the fuel door. Sam grabbed a bunch of interior parts. From what I heard it had an interesting intake setup. I saw a home made throttle bracket using a rats nest screw and bracket. Sam said it had a weird weber set up. He grabbed a header off it as well.
Wish I brought my camera to give you guys some pictures.

Man, I grabbed a bunch of stuff today. After Stu showed up we went back to look at the car. As we were leaving I noticed a very nice spoiler on the back of some Altima or something. After we ripped the back seat out to get the trunk open, we proptly swiped it I dont think I could have found a more perfect spoiler for the Beemer! It fits pefectly. With all the stuff I got from the RX and the spoiler, it was almost $45. I don't think I could have got there a better time.......

Tim If you want a hand yanking it out let me know. I know you were looking for one to dabble with. 70 bones will probably get you the short block and 50 more for the trans. I am 10 minutes from there at work. let me know. You really need 2 people to move there damn A-frame for pulling engines.
Was the car on the end of an isle or deep within? What header was on it? RB? fabbed custom? I am looking for one if you wish to make a few bucks in a couple weeks.
