So are going to make the March meet on the 16th official? Is so, let's plan on that. I can't thank you guys enough for understanding how important this is too me, and apparently the rest of the crew. I will make it up to you guys. I know alot more good trails around here that will make for a really nice drive. This shows me how much you guys care!

got my new fender today. I think I'm just going to take and and have it sprayed. I can't afford to paint the whole car right now and it is really in not that bad of condition. I hope to make it to the next meet, whenever it is.

welllll i'm putting the FC down again. after i tuned our shop civic i have to step up and beat the numbers with my rotary hahaha!
the Zac Attack block is almost ready but i'm in need of a new turbo.. either going with the Borg Warner S480 or the Garret GT47.
this ofcourse after a few projects are out of the shop so i have room for the ol beast again
and in case any are interested i did 582whp/ 480tq in our Civic. it's kinda weird spinning drag radials at 130mph in 5th lol!
i'm shooting for 750rwhp in the FC this go around
CHEERS!

figured I would give you guys an opportunity to make me an offer. I am going to sell the 7 not sure when yet though. Maybe I'll make it to the meet so you guys can see it. I know I should list things for sale in the classifieds section but it is not for sale yet just seeing what 7 enthusiasts would offer me for it. I want to get an yamaha R1 after I sell it. the fuel for the commute is killing me. I love the car she runs great and I hate to get rid of her but I know me and I will just keep buying stuff everytime I get on the internet. let me know what you guys think. this won't be my last one either. I will buy another one and fix it up and sell it that what I do I will never change

being a motorcycle mechanic i can tell you that you will not save all that much buy owning a bike. The fact that you are only spending 10 bucks at the pump makes you feel better but you have to stop more often. Espeacially with a R1 cause you will be using excessive throttle.( No arguments here please)
As well the added costs of upkeep actually add up to more than a car after a year. ( taking into account tires, oil changes, chain and sprockets, other repairs etc...) Someone did a big study oce and it showed a bike was roughly 5-10 cents more a mile to operate than a car. Estimated!! It has been a LONG time since that article
Now, I am NOT trying to keep you off the bike, Hell It is what i do for a living is fix them. So when you do get one, keep up with us still and drop me a line. I will take care of all your needs, from oil to turbo And at a better cost than other shops. Good luck with your choice and be warned,.. R1's are a handfull of motorcycle. My advice is stick with a 600, plenty fast! I have been riding street bikes for 15 years now and will not even think of owning anything more than a 600.

Didn't you leave yet for Daytona ?
Sounds like a plan. I ended up with the flu this week anyway, so putting it off another week is fine by me. Unless you all want some used germs

Tim, I hate to hear about you getting the flu. Everyone I know has had something here lately. Hope you get to feeling better soon. I will be going down to Daytona Thursday, and I will be back Sunday. I figure this will give some of the crew some more time to get thier stuff done before the next meet. I pulled my engine harness out of the FB today and stripped it down to just what needed to be there. Like removing all the rats nest wiring and such. Gave me a chance to clean up the engine bay too. Looks alot nicer without all those open connectors hanging everywhere. I also retaped and loomed the entire harness. I'll try to get some pics for you guys. BTW, you guys need to check on Robby's painting progress. Looking o so good.

thanx. It is already at the body shop though. I ended up ordering one from mazdatrix.
I didn't say that bikes were cheaper to operate than a car. I was just saying that that is what I think my next purchase will be. I don't drive the 7 to work I drive my dodge ram quad cab
