BOOOO! for you guys who didn't come out. Long should be pretty happy after today. We only had 4 rotarys represent today and I hate to admit it, but Long had everybody's daddy. Got the dyno numbers, and the trophy to prove it. Highest hp rotary goes to Josh Long. Dang near clipped 300 rwhp at 12 psi. His car was spinning so bad on the dyno, it was pathetic. I'm working on video right now. I should have it up in a couple of days.

Sounds like it was a blast! I was dumb enough to not find the directions beforehand. Got up to mooresville and drove around for like 15 minutes and got real hot (black interior and no air!). Ended up turning around.
When you called me kory I was already past huntersville lol

134 WHP Woot!
Long busted all our chops with his 290+ hp. Way to go and it did't blow!
Micheal it was a great surprise to see you make our meet. Your reaction
time was great, I hope someone sends the trophy out to ya.
We had a new member who just lurks on here come in with a nice red 2nd
gen vert that was really sweet. I'm trying to remember but I think his name
was Bob. I'm bad with the names until I see folks a few times.
Kory showed up in his truck but at least he showed Stu! I was lost too
and just stopped and ask where the morresville dragway was at the
spot where my google map link took me. Don't worry I gave Andre plenty of
grief about it considering I posted it up and asked if it was correct.
I never dynoed before so it was definitely interesting for me. My car did
about what I figured it should given my mods on a stock port.
Almost forgot, thanks Andre for setting this up and inviting us. Other than the
directions it was a blast. Hope we have more activity meets like this. Maybe
a mountain run for the July meet on the 12?
Heres the dyno sheet:

Man my car is runing GREAT!, Well on my way back home from Dyno day and stell at like 98 out side and high humidity every time I would go to boost it, it would start to go lean. So today I Drilled some more jets out. Now I can drive it on a hot and humid day. crusing the a/f is like 13.5 but in boost now it is in the 10's on a hot day. So got that fixed, then it was falling like it was runing out of gas in long boosts, so I uped the timing back to 10 degs in sted of 5, and upped the FP by 2 psi and just got back from testing it and MAN O MAN! what a beast! no sputering at all just pulling HARD. So Im very happy.

well i am offically the proud new owner of a 87 T2!!! i am excited, and at the same time torn, i have alot of ideas, but, im starting to lean tward selling it. (long you have first dibs, i know) lol. but if i sell it, i can just build a severly nasty vert and have a little money left over. so im torn between ideas. but anyway, i turned her over and it has awsome compression, beautiful swoshes. i find out, that the car has actually been sitting since 1998. it has a little over 118,000 miles on it. the owner said that she thinks it was rebuilt back in 94 when they bought, but she is an 82 yr old lady, so..... her husband stopped driving it because he was almost 400 lbs, so driving this car wasnt in the question for him any more. she's filthy, but all in all, a good start. the pump of course, isnt pumping, and im shure the tank is trash, so im pulling a tank out of my parts car, and just doing a swap out. im going to montgomery mazda tomorrow to have a key made so i can unlock the wheel, i just unscrewed the cylinder and used a screwdriver to crank it, but on with the pictures.....
not a bad car at all, as you can see, its filthy, but its great. and for those who didnt make it, here's a picture of my DJ that i chose for the meet, or maybe just a little eye candy for us in between dyno runs. hehehe
couldnt help it..... i think long is in love with her. lol j/k
doesnt this just look evil?
oh yeah and for those who was wondering who build that blue 93 turbo ranger......
and guess who took all of the credit, sam knows who, the fat *** sitting at the dyno..... lol but it was alot fo fun

numbers although they are slightly higher than what the graph said. For example on
the graph my max hp as 134 but on the power sheet it was 135.5. I just claimed
the 134, that was good enough for me.

that savanna is freaking sweet!! i would love to have that car, but i dont think anyone on here could afford it, im shure he would want just as much as a third gen considering that long found a set of 12a turbo rotors for 2000 dollars. i bet that thing would range around the mid 15's. so cory, i thought that gslse had a blown head gasket. lol at least thats what the ad said. j/k
