Anyone local to the TVA area probably knows about these meets, but just incase, here is the info:


Where: Dairy Queen in Madison, Al. on Hwy 72 (also a Texaco gas station)

When: June 4th, 2008 (most people start pulling in around 6:30PM)

What: Local Huntsville, Arab, Decatur, Athens, ect ect car guys getting together and "shooting the ****". Corvettes, Supras, F-bodys, Novas, RX-7s, DSMs, ect ect. Anyone and anything is welcome, even bikes.

ok... I have found a 73 rx3 coupe. red with white interior auto car. I will know tonight or in the morning how cheap they are going to sell it to me. This is going to be a later project. Whats it worth? From what I know it has some surface rust as the motor went bad 25 years ago and it is still sitting in the same spot.

on another note, my motor should be out tonight to see what damage was done at the Import event.

I personally never followed anything older than a FC, so I wouldn't know what a RX-3 is worth. I think that is a perfect car for a 13B-REW and a trans brake, or even better, a 20B and transbrake.


You gonna make it to DQ? I haven't seen you since KOTS, and haven't talked to you since you had your car on the dyno at Art's when he was at SOWs (I believe BDC was there tuning that day for you, if I remember correctly).

What happen at the Import event, to your car? I assume you mean the Import Alliance (or whatever it's called) at Steele?

 

poped the motor. Rear seals broke. Got it out tonight but just had time to peak in the exhaust ports to check it out. Not sure on the housing yet. I will post some pics on the Huntsville forum so I dont jack this one too much. Yeah it was at the Import face off event but I think the damage was done the night before testing some stuff and left my street map in the ecu while running 24psi. Think it ran way to rich and cracked one seal. Then at the event I finished it off. I will try to make it to the meet.

ive got an rx3 race car..... but i would like to have an rx3 street car too lucky you!

 

If I do get it then it will get gutted, caged, 9inch, c4 w/brake and the works. Track car only. BTW here are my pics from today on the motor issue. Enjoy!
