Grand Rotary Rally Of NC
OK, I will pick up a big bag of charcoal and some lighter fluid. Also plates, utensils, etc.
I just picked up a replacement Fiero today. So I have something that will at least make an attempt to keep up when we burn some back roads out there in Bahama. She aint the prettiest, but after I fuse my old one and this one she should be in formidable shape by winter. So when I pull up be on the look out for this car sporting some different wheels.

Hope to see everyone there.

Thanks for the updates, with Rick and Jeremy and the 1 coming with rotorfird from Cherry Point and Chris and Brian that brings the committed to 23. We also have several guys coming to the GRR from the RX8 forum, probably a total of 5 so far.

Bert, it sounds like we are going to have a great turnout. Is there anything else you think I should pick up from the store? Is the food taken care of?
I'll take care of the food, Dave's party house has a nice frig, so it can be kept overnight there, Ryan said he'd handle the coolers and ice and drinks, Johny is handling directional signs and shirts, Dave will have the place ready for us and I am gonna ask Steve and Ken to plan the drives, two routes to see the country and test our cars handling. Anyone wants to test their directions this weekend they can drive out and help with the cleaning and prep work.
other than the above all is taken care of unless I have overlooked something major. Any ideas y'all have, just let me know.

Hey to all,
I think i'm driving up by myself on friday, unless anyone contacts me and tells me otherwise. I'm staying at La Quinta INN/Stes Raleigh RTP. I'm the only one in the room, There are two queen size beds, if anyone needs a room and wants to pay half (total cost for two nights, friday and saturday night, is $124) You are more than welcome to PM me with any questions. Check in is at 3:00pm on Friday. Just letting you guys know where i'll be. MapQuest says it'll take 37min to get to GRR from the hotel, i'm probably somwhere halfway between Raleigh and Bahama I suppose, if anyone decides to go to Raleigh after GRR my room would be a good place to stop by!

If anyone wants to meet up in Raleigh...I can meet you guys at the Char-Grill if you want. I'll say I'll meet you guys there at 1:00pm. From there we can hit up 540 and catch HWY 70 to Durham....either let me know in here...or PM me. I'll make a list of who is gonna be with me so we dont forget anyone

Forgot about that....I had mentioned earlier if anyone in Raleigh wanted me meet me out there.....The offer still stands though! Just hit me up.

Welcome Carl, Always great to have more FBs. We have a few that show up at the Drive-Ins occasionally and it is a thrill to have another one join the GRR. If you have any questions just let us know.
See you on Saturday.
