I am from new jersey with a 3rotor single turbo fd with a electromotive tec 3. i also have an original cym with a power fc. i am moving to florida within the next few months and i was wondering who is recommended for working on these highly modified cars. who is a good engine builder and who is experienced in tuning standalones such as tec3s and powerfcs? im not sure exactly what area of florida im moving to yet. I need to decide that still. I never had to worry about a honest, experienced rotary mechanic who did it all because i live 5 minutes down the road from him (jpr imports in blackwood) however, now i have that concern due to relocating somewhere in florida. Thanx for all your help.

thanks guys. Ive been to pettit racing. They are a very reputable shop. I know they like to steer you away from single turbos tho and are pro wolf 2. lol Nothing wrong with that, i just didnt know if they'd be willing to work with what i have. Also, any suggestions where to move in florida thats not boring? my gparents live on the gulf side just below tampa, and its all old retiree boring people. I need to be around excitement and a young crowd with rotaries. lol thanks fellas

i live in boca raton and your basically right in the middle of everything miami, ft. lauderdale, and west palm. if you move somewhere in south palm beach county you should like it... it depends how much you want to spend compared to how big you want. just let me know where your looking and ill tell you areas to check out.

When I lived in Ft Lauderdale I hung out at Pettit before they moved, really really nice guys and excellent work. I also knew Japtrix and they did great work as well. I've seen some of their recent numbers and they have really stepped up their game.
If I lived in Florida again I would definitely check out Crispeed. He seems down to earth, helpful and builds some badass cars and is at the track. Not sure if he knows a TEC3 but its so easy to tune that anyone and adjust the VE table.
What part of Florida are you going to?

im not sure yet. i have family in Tampa. and also some friends in ft.lauderdale. Im looking to be a state trooper in florida and i must live when they station me for the first year. After that, i can put in a request for them to station me where i reside. So i will probably rent for a year according to where im stationed and then decide where to live after a year where i can basically choose where i want to live. thanx again guys

Damn straight, that's what I did. I'm close enough for any big events in either Tampa or Orlando and have the comfort of a nice quiet neighborhood when I go home. I'm from Denver so it's nice to live in Lakeland.
