you should come out one of these fri/sat and we just had a pretty cool cruise from fay. to raleigh this weekend and met up with ray and fix .... come out and say wassup haha...

 

Well, I'm still patching up a few things for the 7 (licensing, new tire, etc) but as soon as it's ready, I'm down.

 

Where should I get a check/tune up around here? Can the local dealer be trusted? Any specialty shops?

currently my 7 is in a shop with a rotary mach... From my understanding tho he has quit working on the engines... but perhaps the more simple things that don't require him to completely rip apart the engine he may do... I know there are a few around here... when I go to pick up my 7 ill talk to him and see if he has anybody to suggest if he doesnt... I'll PM u

Hey guys let me know when come to Raleigh I live in Cary close to Raleigh so we can meet,Im out of the Army 9 month ago and I would like meet more rotary head in this area the we can chill.

 

In grill 57 the antiques car had cruise and is a saturday or sunday turbo ll know the day the we can go and chill there too.

The meets in grill 57 is the 3rd saturday of the month so in august is 21st.

 

Just bought 94 red rx7. Any others out at the coast? Is there an NC rx7 club?

Hey, just moved back to Fayetteville last week. I have a 2006 RX-8 and a 1994 RX-7. The FD is still in Virginia getting looked at, cause I had to replace the entire front wiring harness and engine wiring harness and somehow I flubbed up something in the dash 'cause both turn signals are stuck on. Also a little body work to be done to the back right fender. Anyways, I'd be more than happy to meet up with fellow rotary enthusiasts in the Fayetteville area.

 

Any body down here have or know any one selling end plates that are ported?

 

I'll be back to the states in about a week, I just bought my first FD before I left. If anyone wants to help me with rebuilding her feel free to hit me up.

 

Have you done any rebuilds before? let me know brother i can help.

 

I used to have an 81 that I rebuilt from the ground up. I do miss that car. Parts cars are so easy to get for an fb.

My fd was is missing all kinds of random bolts and hardware lol. I'll pm you my number.

 

I'm still around, been busy running a shooting range and what not. RX7 had been sitting because the person with the actual shop was suppose to come back a few months ago, and decided not to! not he will be here next week so I will have it parked in the shop, and in 2 months the body work should be done, everything is gutted out, thinking about just tossing in an Atkins rotary engine and starting from there... He should be getting an RX7 aswell. So rotarys will atleast have a shop not to far off.
