There are a couple of good roads near Jordan lake or Falls Lake. I just normally head north on 87 and just pick random roads to drive on. I guess I need to write down the roads I like from now on lol.

Alright gents, we gonna get a meet going or what? Maybe try and get as many people together as we can and roll to the lot on Friday or Saturday and watch all the ricers do burnouts and get kicked out.

Anyone?

Get on it man! You're car is looking nice as heck. Puts my FC to shame, lol. We need to get some RX-7s in one place at least once before I PCS in October. Hell, I'd be happy to just see ONE other RX-7.

We don't, lol. I can never find anyone local, and if I do their car is either in another state or broken. I just go to C&C's around here and hope for the best.

Well Aaron has a bone stock 2nd gen but never wants to hang out, Jason just deployed for 4 months and his 3rd gen won't see the sun till he gets back. I keep seeing a red 3rd gen but can't track him down. Other than that, mine now has gas in her and just needs the down pipe finished and a shifter rebuild till on the road-ish. I'll come hang out in the tundra though lol.

Try and get out for the Aug 8th C&C in Hope Mills man! Some people are organizing a cruise from there to B-dubs for lunch, then cruise to the Everything On Wheels show at Crown Coliseum. It's all on the Facebook page I posted above. Whoever Aaron is, tell him to get out too.

Just saying hello again from Hawaii. I dropped by NC this past April/May, and I'm not sure when I'll make another visit...although I'm gonna try and stop by during the holiday season.

Anyway, my CYM's coming along. Installed Benny's cooling plate and GReddy's twin air intakes (I call them "twintakes"...LoL). Up next is a Mishimoto radiator, Biletein shocks, and SakeBomb Garage's electric water pump. I'm simply accumulating car parts to install them when I'm in NC again. Any leads on a nice exhaust before I resort to dropping the scratch on an RE Amemiya Dolphin Tail Muffler?

I wish I had known about this thread before I deployed. I have a Black '94 FD and I stay on post. I'll be back in May, I guess I'll post in the thread again when I get back. I can't wait to get back to my car!

Fort Bragg has a way of sucking people back into it, huh? I'll be leaving Hawaii this year and will be coming back to NC in the fall. I hope there are still a few rotorists left.

I hear TougeFest is coming up in November as well (I'm going to miss DGRR). Anyone able to go up there to The Tail later this year?

Agreed. I'm always split between whether I want them to do my build or whether I want to take on the challenge of doing it myself as a learning experience.

BTW I currently live in MD. But there's a very good possibility of me moving down to the Bragg area in the next 2 months if this upcoming interview goes well next week. Does the area have a decent rotary community? I know Raleigh's isn't bad and it's not far away. But I'd be down to do regular C&C meets on weekends if all works out well.

I'm not sure of any rotary specific meets here in Fayetteville, but there was a car meet this past Saturday in Sonic off of Yadkin Road. I do plan to try to go to Cars and Coffee next Saturday in Hope Mills (where the Millstone Towne Center/movie theater is located), though.

Oh, yeah. I'm back from Hawaii, guys...so if you see a CYM R1 with one white headlight cover, I'm not too far away--say hi!

If you've got a facebook, there's a Cars and Coffee page you can join. It usually starts at 9AM. I'll see if I can find a public link if you want to join it.

I just found this out, but there's also a meet at Sonic tonight at 8PM. Not the same Sonic location as this past Saturday. It's on 7755 Good Middling Drive.

Dang, I was just over there picking up my car from the dealership . I live on the west side of base and didn't see you post until now. I don't have facebook either so I'll just keep watching this. Hopefully I'll be able to make this Saturday work but I already have plans to go to an auction in Sanford starting at 10.
