Joel, George, Ren, and I used to use this thread to keep up with each other. But I haven't heard anything from them in months. Hence why I try to bring it up, hoping they are still alive haha.

Ren, is probably out of country again. I think he is gone to the mitsu side of the car world. I do remember he hung with the SC boys, but I never made one of there meets. Check his sig and see if he has any recent posts.

I'm still around, I thought this thread was dead, at one time it was the longest running in our area wasn't it. Not much happening down east. If I do anything anymore its with the NCrotary guys up in Raleigh.

it's weird seeing this thread 7 years after the 3 person, 2 rx-7 meet up. (me, sevensheaven, and rxtony!) i still remember the euros on tony's ranger and the yellow calipers on seven's red fd. good times.

i'd be up for a meet although i am currently driving an s2000.

Hey everybody, it's Tony, formerly Rxtony. I'm out in Seattle now, sold my 86 GXL before I left. But, I am looking to get into the rotary again. I found a killer local deal on a 10th Anniversary, 102k original miles, and dirt cheap. Glas to see this thread is still up and running.

I was just reading this thread. Crazy how long its been since this started. Reading some of those guys saying how they were 16 and 17...thinking how young they are...then it hit me, this was in '02 lol. I was 14 years old...so all those guys are older than me...anyway Crazy. I'm one of those SC boys btw. lol, nice to meet everyone.

 

Great to hear from you again Tony! I still have my Seven and it has progress a lot since you have seen it. One rebuild and much TLC. Your car looks nice, I'm glad it was you, I was about to flame someone for putting a stang in our post.

Sold my 7 when I left NC in 2004, no way I could bring it with me. I have been on the look for another. Found one.....10thAe 102K miles, was sold before I could get to it. I enjoy my stang, but want another 7 for a DD/toy/autocross car.

I get special treatment for putting a stang in here since I started this thread but more allowed

He was running high 13s on bald street tires, it made 244 rwhp, 317 rwtq. The new setup should double that and knock a couple seconds off the ETs.

DAMN! you need some roll protection in that miata. I have access to 3 mazdas, just rarely drive any of them. wife has a 3, dad has 3, mom has a miata same year and color as yours with like 50k miles on it. fun little car, but not fun to get in/out of being 6 foot and 280. i might be back into rotaries again, been looking. found a local 10thAnni for $800 with 102k on it. I was a day late or it would be in my driveway.
