Also just to add as moosejaw just explained cops are aware what those days are and trust me they will be out on full force.. they do not like "imports"

 

if the hotel is in Bryson City, you guys are only like 15mins from Nantahala village, from Nantahala to the gap is a good 30min drive, but trust me that drive is as good as driving on the GAP itself, a much better drive than the gap is the Skyway, much faster, better views, more dangerous, less cops.

I will be at 82 songbird Microtel Inn "B" on the map. If your at "A" Microtel looks like 25 to 30 mins away!

 

Bro keep in mind all the cars & rotor heads as you drive up time will fly by & come on you have a 20B!

I think you guys are miss understanding, the meet is not at Deals's Gap, the meet is at Nantahala Village, that's where the car show/lodging/meets/event, take place, the drive is at Deals Gap AKA Tail of the Dragon.

The hotel "A" on that map is 14 miles from the event.
Hotel "B" is 8 miles from the event.

from there to the Gap, is at least 30 minutes, is 32 miles from Nantahala Village to the beginning of the Dragon, which is right where US129 meets with NC 28N.
