FD3S2005 PM Laz cause on one of his post he said that he may trailer up his 7 (that's if he goes) work something out 50/50 on gas & tolls?!
Guy's what you think about a list of who's driving / trailing up even if your 50/50 about the trip. I think that will help out the ones that are 50/50 about this trip! If someone has a truck but no trailer let me know maybe we can help each other out? Also Jorge (jm85rx7) made a good point to me saying if someone was to break down along the way we (I'm willing to unstrap my car to help out) can unstrap a running car & strap down the broken one.

Guy's I made a few calls just to get a ballpark number on a transport car service. Well the more cars the better the numbers get what you guy's think about this?

Transport car service i think will be quite alot of money... unless almost everyone was willing to chip in and even still... Let me know what you guys decide to do

One place I call told me $225 each way but price is if we have 6 cars to transport! If I was to rent a truck & trailer plus gas it will be more I think.

I think $225 x 2 trips x 6 ppl is $2700. but you will have a difficult time finding 6 ppl
Keep in mind how long would the driver stay at DGRR ? The weekend?
I think a truck rental and a trailer would cost the same as $ 225 each way with gas.

The name of the transport I think is Action transport. Maybe your right just trying to keep things open cause I know most of us don't want to drive up & back. I will do some more home work.

What's up guys? Change your oil and filter before the trip, take a few quarts of oil, what's the problem, miles? everyone abuses these cars at the track way more than just a constant RPM/speed on a long trip...
So, trailer the car up there, unload it at the meet, then trailer it back to Miami?

Yeah, i'm going, but i won't be sleeping in the car lol...

unless i missed it, when is the caravan leaving miami? the orlando guys are leaving thursday morning and meeting up with gainsville guys, atlanta and so on and so on.
i cannot leave until 4-5PM thursday. i am also not apposed to leaving Friday morning, although knowing the miami guys like i do, friday morning will turn into Friday afternoon!!!!!
by the way, everyone who is going must register

ok a little update guys on my end.. Spoke to the owner of the cabin Mountain Ayre is probably gonna be booked for those dates.. but he owns another cabin called Mountain Manor (can see pictures at yourcabin.com) anyways he says he can give it to me for 50% off if we pay cash (hes just gonna close the cabin saying its getting repairs..) let me know what you guys decide to do remember i need to know in advance..
Also my door is open to everyone who might not want to stay in a cabin i guess? but it's undergoing alot of remodeling lol so there would be some sleeping on the floor maybe air mattress?
