About the only thing I'm showing off in the corners is my undercarriage from all that roll! On a side note, next trip to an autox or to the dragon, I'm tempted to put on my stock "+" 13x5.5 rims and see how's they do. That would save some on tire replacement and give me something to do with them. They've got Bridgestone's on them now with 90% tread. The Konigs are intended for show, not performance. I just noticed today while cleaning her up that the snap in center caps are much easier to spin now on the Konigs. That means they must have stretched a little and increased the outer bore size a bit, I reckon?

Probably just broken in well.

That's in fact what I've been thinking of doing. I have 2 sets of stock wheels I'm thinking of putting slicks on one, and regular radials for long trips. The wheels I have on, SSR Type Crs are for looks but also for performance... so I'm not sure... I mean they are by far my lightest wheels. I haven't decided yet.

My aluminum stockers are actually 4 pounds lighter each, including the tires. They are 1.5" narrower and 2" smaller diameter than the konigs. I read that a lot of the fb's in autox use 13" but they are usually wider than the stock. Too bad I don't have the room to feasibly take a whole other set with me and try both.

Why not? You don't need the passenger seat / room.

Toby gets the "approach me and cry award" for his tear-bringing exhaust. Your car reminds me of a $200 *****, looks damn good but smells like ***. Maybe you could tune her a little b4 the dyno this weekend, or not....that way you'd have a nice baseline, before/after type of thing.

Jamin wins the "ambulance" award for hauling *** in his fookin sweet white T2 on the dragon to get help for some old geezer who laid his bike down, and then took off before it arrived. I want this man on all my road trips!

Gianni wins the "most-parts- flying- off- the- car- but- still- making- it- home-after-scaring-girlfriend -to-death-on-dragon-and -never-hearing-the-end-of-it" award. That comes with a ginormous tube of permatex to help out, G-man - in both areas! I still LOVE your FB tho , or should I say ours...I think I've got about a .02% stake in its value from the parts I saved.

Vic wins the "look at my *** shrinking" award , because that's about what we saw of his only-blue-8-there while trying to keep up with him on the dragon . I wanted to ride in it again so badly that I let the aforementioned part-tossing G-man drive my baby for a while.

Eli you win two awards, one for the loudest FC exhaust (loved it!). Plus the 8,463 bonus points for tackling the dragon with your power steering out qualifies you for the strong arm award! (Like his forearm doesn't see enough action already.)

I would like to thank everyone for my awards. And Ractive for the noise and my robbinsville NAPA for the belt. Also God for safe passage. And MAY 28
could be marked on the calender if all partys are still down. P.S Just because I brought my MOM to the DGRR doesnt mean my Forearm gets much action! My girlfriend had to work all weekend and mommy cried till I caved in, BUT I know she wont climb back into a car with me any time soon either LOLx2. Keep me posted on SC events.

Damnit why are you trying to turn my pretty old girl into a race car?
Sigh, I just need to buy another one and be done with it.
And grab one of Vic's RX8 seats whilst I'm at it....

LMAO! Will do Eli. I hope I'll have the LSD on the back by the time we go to the dragon. I'm picking it up tomorrow. I will need to rebuild the calipers and get some new pads & SS lines all around too. And maybe some shocks & springs while I'm in there....someone stop me, PLEASE! :smiley_12

Brakes are on the list for mods and Im about to get serious about my suspention. I may not be able to walk off and leave every car in a straight line but it would be nice to hold my own even better in the twistys

I hear that, man. My brakes were smoking after our Sunday morning run, really bad. Got spongy too. Time for some speed bleeders and silicone fluid, methinks!

I need to get a FB rolling chassis and throw an REW in there with a big single turbo. A total sleeper with about 450hp. I love that damn FB style, and the FD is oh-so-sweet too. Whatever shall I do??

On the website it says if there aren't enough vehicles or there are some no shows then there will be an opportunity to sign up on-site. We could all meet a little earlier and do breakfast if you guys want? He may as well sign up for it on the website if the form is still available, can't hurt...

If Toby comes that will make 4 of us, we'd still need one more. Gianni, try to talk Vic into coming if he is back in time!
