CHAS RX7CLUB Meet(JUNE)

I just want to confirm that the june 11th meet is on ,at my place. food and softdrinks will be served.I live at 100 myers rd summerville sc 29483,the cars will be parked in the sunrise church parking lot, next to my house. All rx7 owners are welcome. On another note,i got my downpipe installed at a local muffler shop.He only charged me 100.00 and he said it took less than 2 hrs! my fd would have killed my stock c5. OH i forgot ,can someone install my new defi boost gauge on that day? i have a drill and some tools, any volunteers?

I'm still planning on attending the meet at your house, but depending on how quickly my manifolds get done, I might not be in the 7.

On a good note, my wheels arrived! Yay! Now I just need to find someone to install the tires for me without charging me an arm and a leg... And who will be responsible in case they mar the wheels.

I was at Coolvette's place the other day, and I would highly suggests another 7 meet in Charleston. There is most definatley more than enough room for parking. he wants to host it, what else can I say, he has pool and he's wanting to grill burgers and dogs, and the PLUS he has an FD with less than 15K on the clock now what's better than that (OK an rx-3 with 5K on the clock).

Plan for this meet, bring your trunks and lets discuss the time for tuning. Let your 7 peeps know that don't have access. And lets shoot for the 4th or 11th of June.

any questions, comments, concerns - post them. or you can call LATINOTHUNDER (me)

Later Days

hey neito, thanks for the help with the boost gauge install. My first ride is a single turbo was cool, someday i will want to go single, when my engine craps out. Is the june meet going to be at my house or in columbia? Imput from interested people is needed. Its no problem to throw a cookout.

I vote that we postpone the normal meet (which would be on the 4th) to the 11th. That way we should have a better turnout than if we try to get people to go across the state TWICE.

Anyone else agree with that?

I agree with the meet on the 11th, and at coolvette's place. Also anyone interested @ lowcountry draqway they are having an import night on the 20th of may. I would like the 7's to be represented nicely. Nieto, if you think your car is faster than mine dont show up because if you do, i will leave you in the dust. Well after i tune my boost controller that is. Anyways let me know who all is interested.

Landon

well i hope you guys have fun...looks like my t78 project is being postponed indefinitely due to an untimely conference pending with my C.O. anyways i have the numbers back from my car being tuned with the efini twins: not as good as drop tops dyno on the other page but it hit 348 to the wheels at .95(high)bar and 312 at .7bar(low) on 91 octane and with a stock intake box. im going to have chris redo the tuning on the high boost with 105 octane and a new intake and see if i can get those big numbers

Are we suggesting having a normal meet on one saturday and the cookout on another? I appreciate being invited to your cookout, coolvette, but haven't the past two meets been in Summerville/Charleston?

charleston again? WTF! I don't want to put miles on the FD its sitting right on 24k and i dont want to drive the drop that far! Also depends on my DVD/ NAV install time for the FD, plus a closing on the house, but i'd still like to come and let ya'll have a peek at the FD before its shipped back to TX July 15th. I'll try and work out something. Maybe i can pick you up Reese or caravan with someone so i don't loose my mind.

I"ll be leaving o the fifth to go to norfolk, but I'm not goin anywhere until I get the replacement parts. If anyone remembers Matt, he was tellin me about someone who lives in summerville with like a dozen or so RX's and I should talk to him, but I don't know the guy to well. I remember him tellin me about a gxl turbo conversion the guy did... anybody know who I'm talkin about? If I can get an intake and flowmeter, I would be very appreciative and hopefully my car will run again. Any help is thanked.

Paul

88 convert, that would be derek you are talking about. He posts under spvolt10 on the forum. I should be able to make the meet pending any bs from the unit or volleyball tournaments or things of that sort. Oh yeah, and one more thing. The fd should be able to make that meet. I say that because the only thing it needs is one fuel line hooked up and some tunage. I should be able to get that done the week I get back from Vegas. I'll keep you all posted. Later,
Ben

REESE just keeps upgrading, did I mention we need to talk about some Kan tunage!!!!!!

BEN just needs to get his car running again atleast to like 5 mph's so the brake rotors don't rust anymore than they need to.

LANDON - We all have brain farts every now and then

NIETO has finally put an air filter on!!!! LOL for all that know how much I like screens
