well off the battery to relay its pretty big wire then to the fan and stuf its 14 and everythign running to the switch is around 12

 

Does any of the wiring also get hot or just the switch?

i'm planning on bringing the 3rd gen or the vert down from spartanburg, what time are you guys (Reese) leaving Cola? i definitly need to put some miles on the FD if its ready to roll by then.

 

We need to ask Coolvette if showing up around 2 or so is fine...since he didn't specify a time... then we can meet @ Reese's about 12:30/1 to drive down.

By the way, what can I bring to the party? Need anything??

I see that a lot of you will be driving a good distance to come down our cookout/meeting on june 11th.I agree with the suggestion to start it at 2:00.The grill will be fired up by then. Lets hope for a nice sunny day! My address is 100 myers rd summerville sc 29483 i am about 15 miles west of charleston,do a map search for directions.

 

No promises yet but Im going to try to make this ..My work situation is up and down so I dont know whats going to happening that weekend. Hope to see you all there.

 

man this thread goes dead in a hurry. but i just found out my 3rd gen was the second off the line in 1993, with touring its like one of 53. I had a bit of bad luck last night.I left the umbrella up in the glass patio table on my deck and a storm came in last night and somehow the glass table is smashed to pieces all over my deck and i think some of the broken glass may have gone into the pool. The party is still on for the 11th but the pool may be out of commission,no big deal.

just me bitches! my final meet in SC, so i'm bringing the FD. I'll be down there on Friday working with some of my clients if anyone wants to raise some hell at night.

 

i might not have my car for this meet im thinking about getting it painted.....(RIP flat black..lol) but i will still show up for the meet....im going to maybe start preping this week and see if my friends step dad can get me the hook up on paint so i can use his shop and supplies to paint my car along with my friends 240 hopefully it turns out good...........btw im going with a dark gray charcoal color and get a mariah airdam with kosie k1 rims and some tint,, this color was the 1984 color i think tornado paint code k8...

 

you should by now, that no one brings Rx7s to these meets. its all about the ford ranger!

 

(update) got the whole car sanded doing bondo work sunday and hopfully buying the paint monday and see when the any booths are open to spray

im now not spraying finish coat on im just doing all the body work and spraying primer and another guy is going to spray down final and clear in a booth instead of ghetto tarps and stuff but hoping hoping to have it down for ya'll on saturday

Rusty, sounds like the ride is coming along just fine. Mine hasn't. Been doing a lot of work on the house the past month. But I've finally convinced the wife that the cars need some attention too. The house isn't going anywhere, if you know what I mean.

I'd really like to see that paint job when you get it done. How much are the materials costing you?
