materails arnt really costing me anything..lol im doing at my friends step dads sign shop so he has everything i need and if not he told us to charge it to the shop since left overs will be used by the shop...only thing im paying for is the paint which i hope is under $100 thats all im really having to pay for..im going to be doing primer tomorow morning as for sanding that and then buying the paint so that i can do it wed.. lets hope everything goes well and i get it to the meet....

All I got to say is that we need some more representaion from the up state crew. It used to be where we only had like 3 charleston guys go up to cola and cola seemed to rule it all.

well the upstate crew where getting excited, and then we did like 2-3 meets in a row in chucktown. just my .02. If my FD is ready by Friday i'll come and just tell work to **** off, if not then i'll keep my job =)

 

from the last 2 meets there was only still a few that showed, but I understand that work and some other pre planned things must and do come first.

 

i wont have my car there i wont even have the paint with me untill thursday at the earliest keeping fingers crossed..

hey nieto how is it with the 1st??? got the fuel problem fixed?

 

CAR UPDATE: Got the new JSPEC engine with efini twins built, hopefully we can get it droped in a ready for the meet. just need it tested and tuned. i got my doubts, but hey maybe i'll get suprised. I talked to Josh up here in Greenville, aka imtheruthless he might go if i go. so we'll see. what time on saturday is the cola caravan leaving?

Preston, I still got problems with the frist gen not wanting to start. fuel maybe one thing but I'm thinking it maybe blown, The 2nd gen seems to be doing the exact same thing when I crank her if feels like theres no compression and just spinning freely. I bought a compression gauge yesterday before I went into work gonna try to do some stuff today. 3rd gen well it's been dropped a few inches since thursday.

Im about an hour south of seattle, wa right now. there are a TON of RX7s here. i see massive amounts of first and second gens and ive seen 3 third gens since ive been here for about 4 weeks. theres even a guy in my BEQ who has a base model 87 fc with a single turbo conversion in it :P Anyways talk to you guys later

Well the dragstrip was a bust. Again, i think that last night will be my last night at that track. i got 2 runs in one before the rain, and then one after the rain. the rain screwed everything up. Reese let me know when they have an import night in jackson, and i will do my best to make it there.

got the bumpers painted today the peice above my hood though got screwed up when i went to go spray it i didnt test the gun out and i blew about a cup of paint in one spot since the gun had psi turned up and instead of fan spray it spot sprayed ..so paint just started running and dripping off of it,, so i gotta go back in the morning and sand ,,primer ,,and repaint that peice so besides that it will be looking good

 

i was in summerville that day, just working at the mcelveen hummer opening. =(

 

had a great time and it was awesome to meet you all, keep me posted on anything thats going on in chas, not just the meets, but local hang outs in parking lots getting run off by cops sortathing. if need be call me on any last minute things 843-717-2450.
