Turned out the supports for the radiator snagged an oil cooler line and thats what burst. I was lucky enough to have a nice gentleman haul me to the on base body shop to get it on the lift. After dealing with the ******** who run the shop (i dont say that lightly either) They finally agreed to help me bypass the lines. Apparently what they didnt tell me and I was stupid enough not to double check was that their idea of a "bypass" was to cut both lines going into the cooler, plug them, and fill it up. My dumb self thinking they had actually done what they said were going to, seized up about a quarter mile down the shop after being rushed out so they could all get home early. I ended up having to call a wrecker to haul me from Cherry point to Jacksonville.
Well I'm not sure how to check to see if the motor is in fact seized up. Moneys tight right now so its just gonna have to sit in the drive way. Hopefully soon though I can replace the lines going into the oil cooler... its a start at least.I'm gonna drain her out tonight and start taking the old lines off. I may even just replace the oil cooler eventually. Oh hey Tom I saw you yesterday just before Halltown road. I was the guy that waved to you from the black explorer.

Ha, in all honesty, didn't see ya. But of course now I'll subconsciously be looking for a black Explorer. Do you stay out that way?

Well if it doesnt start at first dont force it cause it can cause worst problems when you get it rebuilt, if its just a bearing then you replace the rotor and the e-shaft and be good, but it can get worst if it keeps getting cranked. Ive had several spun bearings, no biggie.
