For any of you FC guys, i got a short throw shifter that i am pretty sure goes in an FC tranny, looks like a pretty quality piece, we can bolt it up and make sure it works then talk about buying lol.

Ill be looking into an 86 fc on sunday if anybody would like to meet up with me and head there. Being i know nothing on what to look for in an fc. Ive read the thread but reading and actually knowing what youre looking for are two different things

I'll be moving to new River around Jan/Feb and looking into getting an FD again. Hopefully there's more people around that meet.

 

There's a couple of us around, not a lot of Fd's but there's a couple fb's and fc's floating around here I see every now and again. My friend and I are trying to get a group together.

 

How is the car scene besides the fds? I seen there's s group of rotaries in Raleigh I believe. Anything in Wilmington?

 

The scene in Wilmington isn't bad, rotaries are thin around these parts if your talking rx7s, Raleigh rotaries are mostly rx8s very few rx7s

 

Not much in jville.several rx8's and thats about it. Ive seen one fd and havent seen any fc's or anything else. Im still looking for an fc or fb still. Hopefully i can find one from an owner who doesnt know what they have and buy it dirt cheap

 

I believe there is a blue Fc with a rebuilt street port on craigslist, I wanna say it was near the Fayetteville area but I could be wrong. Last time I checked the guy wanted like 1300 bucks for it. Clean body from the pics.

Wat are getting done to your Fd?

 

It's getting the engine rebuild and I'm putting a haltech ecu as well as a new exhaust manifold.

 

That awesome, are they still any meets going on still.

 

To be honest I just got here so I'm not sure. I definitely want get something started around here.

 

Got my FD!!! Does anyone know how to work on ac? I think mine is still r-12 and needs to be refilled, it might have a leak.

 

Awesome, I don't think they sell r12 anymore and if the do you will need an special license to buy. Best bet is to do the r134 conversation, which is easy to do.

 

Any shop around here works on FDs? Need to have it tuned after my break in miles, install the M2 IC and make the hot side piping, install the 1300 injectors and the battery relocation kit.
