canadian explains it all...anyway, back to relevant topics, how about a drive through emerald isle to atlantic beach(i think thats the name) which is about 45 mins away since a lot of people liked the drive around wrightsville beach. Could get pics since last meet didnt have too many good pics or video. As we get closer to the date I can look at the weather and we can maybe get a bbq on the beach or a park reserve. But if cold we can overtake a golden corral or chinese food place or something with cheap buffet. I know Ericks first words will be CiCi's. Spread the word guys.

i think a emerald isle drive would be nice. i know some backroads we could take on the way there, and the way back . different ones both ways. Yes tray they arent as curvy as the mountains... BUT we can still have fun.

yes, i've heard of this...rx7's liking straight roads...but i want to think that most people call them drag strips or you have to be doing like 120+ j/k

i like just having a nice line of rx7s driving together, taking up both lanes of a road...

doesnt look like itll be a bad day like the wilmington meet but we'll have to wait till tomorrow to see how the possible outlook will be be for that day. Monday or Tuesday a reservation should be placed for us at wherever we are eating like I TRIED to due but make sure you tell them to write the time down in plain common english.

 

everybody meet up at my house on saturday by 1:00. Does anybody object smithfields? i see a corvette club there every once in a while so i know they would be willing to have us there. Then do a nice drive down to E.I. and back. Get some nice Highway Time/scenic driving in. We can get some nice group shots and maybe a few videos. Stop and talk every once in a while. Once we get back we need to pick from all of the exciting things in J-ville to do!

we have a arcade/bowling alley, a mall, and........ thats about it.

 

hmm...black car runs great, drive it daily...
red car...interior needs to be put back together, need to get a combo switch (for lights, wipers, turn signals) from friend to put back in it, exhaust doesn't have cat back right now and last i drove it, 13 mpg! so yeah, come get it, you can drive it oh and it doesn't want to idle on its own, you have to play with it to keep it running when stopped...likes to load up on fuel, probably have a few plugs foulled...but hey, it did make the trip from J-ville to asheville...

 

so...what youre telling me is....the rotary is running better than the v8....*hyperventilating* oh my God, its happening, this, this is pure happiness! LOL

 

rotors...pistons...if you don't properly maintain either, both will give you problems

 

I dont want to hear all that making "sense" talk..I just wanna enjoy my happiness.

Oh yeah, Smithfields...definately down..but Ive only been there twice but it was good from what I can rememeber. 1pm you say?...isnt that a little late? sundown is like 530-6...can we get talking, pics, drive and eating in 4 hours?

 

I am! I just have to be refreshed on my schedual (wife) to be reminded of other events/times that may conflict with fun stuff. No conflicts then I'm good (conflicts include rain).

umm... i think 4 hours should be plenty. i mean, we are leaving my house at 1 so people should come and chill before then as well. 1 hour at smithfeilds leaves us at least 3 hours of daytime driving. A little night fun could be fun as well.

id love to see you here tray. let me know a few days ahead so i can make sure we have a clear couch for ya if you do come.
