great video, drifting is where it's at hands down lol

i got the axles out finally thanks to a handy pry bar set, didnt look like there was any damage to the splines on either of the axles so i'm dropping the diff right now. my guess is that the damage is in the diff...yay

the car cruised home fine it only stumbles when you get on the throttle heavy so its almost like when it senses boost it stumbles. Ill have to order some 550's anyway so we'll have to wait to troubleshoot it then. I hate this cause I can feel the car wants to GO! then she falls on her face. frustrating

glad you made it home ok! and also glad we found the problem.... well... problems. just to bad we couldnt completly fix it yesterday. let me know when you get some new injectors in

 

after sleeping on it a little I have come to think of a few problems it might be.
1-injectors dont flow properly or open fully or whatever can **** me off
2-bad ground somewhere
3-boost leak. never noticed it before b/c when it DID go into full boost it would cut
out.
4-injector clip connectors loose again from tugging on wires when splicing
5-dirty fuel filter-buying today
6-weak or shitty fuel pump-need to install my walbro
7-spark plugs-God knows what they look like or where they are from if there were
n/a injectors in there, I guess Ill buy those too. and ohm out my wires as well.
Im gonna guess 2,5 and/or 6 b/c it cruised and took off great and pulled better than before but when i start to get into boost it stumbles but then it would continue to stumble if it was a boost leak when I steadily made higher boost. Any other idea are greatly appretiated. The next time Ill get to work on it will have to be the weekend after next since i have to work.

been a while since my last bump but this coming saturday Im heading back to j-ville to see if we can work on my car again as well as hit up some backroads if everything goes well. Guys that came out last time should definitely come out again, it was a pretty good group.

 

ooh....back roads of j-ville, nc...exciting hahaha...you guys need to come up here for a weekend, when the weather gets warmer, we'll plan a camp out! show up on friday evening, camp out (or get a hotel for those who want to...), drive saturday, camp then (with a nice big fire!), then drive a little on sunday before everyone goes home!

yeah, when/where is the jacksonville/wilmington meet for march? looks like the SC meet will be march 8th in the upstate (about a 5 1/2 hour drive for you peoplez)

 

New FC arriving in Wilmington this weekend Im pickiing her up Saturday... Anyone met the new guy in town driving the Montego Blue FD with the spolier on it? He is my new neighbor but I have yet to see him.

 

Nobodys talked about it or anything. The weekly meets dont happen but sporadic gatherings occur at random times. I would like to come down to j-ville if erick will be there to throw on the new stuff. Anybody else down, speak up, but there will probably be a few pop-ins like there were last time that kinda turned into a meet.
