steve, we've come to the thought you need to find a different T2 car to modify...if your 10AE wasn't a 10AE then go for it, but being a 10AE w/ low milage...leave it parked and find another one to mod

very nice pix, they turned out great, look forward to seeing you at more meets

Trey (sp?),
It was good to meet you and everyone else yesterday.
I know I souldn't mod the AE. The only thing I want to do is remove the pre-cat to relieve a little stress placed on the engine and turbo. Maybe just a downpipe and high flow main cat.

Remember I have this to preserve... MUHA HA HA HA HAAAAAA!

whos got a 6 puck? I keep reading people complaining that 6 pucks are unstreetable due to the harsh on/off engagement. Last time I drove a 6 puck was in a high horsepower STI and I dont remember it being very harsh or "unstreetable". Its not my daily and I do intend to put it through the paces pretty often when I do drive it and the positive engagement is good for my purposes. Should I just stick with a street/strip clutch or go ahead and do the 6 puck? Yeah I know the blah blah blah about lb/ft rating and "you wont be exceeding that level" but the truth is that the style has a lot to do with the engagement and immediate power transfer. To tell the truth I wont be too worried about clutch modulation...if I chirp, stall, or sound like a manual noob I dont give a damn. Just asking for some input from the 7's with one.

every 6-puck 7 i have ever driven wasnt that bad. It was rough at first, just becuase i wasnt used to it. But once you are, its not bad at all and grips really well.

ATTN ALL JACKSONVILLE 7's...

Sam's leaving in a bout a month back to FL (EAS) and we're waaaay back on getting his 7 on the road. I was thinking if I could get as many bodies that have spare time and feel like helping him out on getting that sucker running by the end of the month. I'll hook up some grillin' and whatever else I can put on so we can make it a meet/shop whenever everyone finds it good to do it. I'm sure he'd apreciate the help (and give me a reason to bug midway park w/ noise and cars)
so..who's in?

well... tom's helping out w/ soldering the microtech harness plugs.. we got a few heres and theres on the tranny plugs underneath and.. well i think all we got is puting hoses together and were done. it wont be able to move cuz we havent found a driveshaft yet but thats about it. i think sam said he's taking the intercooler piping to majestic motors to weld the blowoff valve and oh yeah we got the fuel pressure regulator and exhaust on the mail so .. yeah we got stuff to put on still.. but we preety much just need a few experienced eyes to make sure were putting crap on the right place and were not missing anything.
BTW i also got a few pics of the meet this sat but they all look like the rest so ill post em later.
