yes it does...next time drive and hour down the most boring road you can find with cops constantly behind you and hang out in a parking lot for 45 mins(a shorter time than you drove) then drive an hour back. Thats real fun. Oh and forgot to mention an angry wife at home lol. Im not complaining just saying that its normal...disapointment is constant...but I hope to be there next time.

Yeah, i had a lousy experience with them as well: I went there to have a o2 bung welded in for my wide band and they acted like they were to good for me or something, thier customer service was very lousy. When i picked up my car there was handprints all over it. The guy looked at me all crazy when i told him to clean them off my car. I was pissed i told him that when i brought it in there werent handprints all over it and i wanted him to get them off. So he did but acted like i was over-reacting or something. I probably was but it was just because i was pissed that they were acting like they were to good to do some work on a rotary. Ill never go back there again.

Hey if you have any better ideas of more fun stuff to do, let me know. I originally strted the meetings so all the rotary guys in the area could get to know each other. I been trying to think of some kind of way to liven up the meetings but its hard. I mean before when i had a bike club it was easy: just drink and chase girls, everybody was happy. Now im old as dirt and not every one who comes is into that. So anyone has any ideas, then lets do it!

Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know we now have a NC Rotaries club. It's all the old crew that had the infamous Saturdays In Raleigh thread on here that was 40 brazillion posts long. We shut it down and went back to using our old website, closed that down and started a new one!. We have people coming to our meets and events from all over the state and I wanted to extend the invitation again to you guys. You're welcome to come up to any of the meets and events! The new website is at www.ncrotaries.com if you'd like to visit.

Well.... I think I can speak for some of us Married Folk, it's kinda hard to get out to these meetings sometimes, and for me it's usually I hear "You're not a kid, this is kid stuff, don't act like a kid" blah blah. Which to some extent is true but not for these meetings we hold, I mean Ruben and I rolled over to 8 ***** one night cause no other 7 guys showed, and boy did we feel out of place.... it was like Fast and the Furious had a pinyata and it exploded over there with all kinds of kids talking smack and having "dope rides".

Anyway I think more BBQ's at people's houses would be cool, or like maybe everyone meet at designated area and go invade one of the local resturants for some dinner and maybe catch a flick afterwards (the Tokyo racing game at the J-ville theater is addicting!). I don't know, just being creative. I'd be up for having a few meetings at my place for some BBQ and whatever else.

I love that idea!!! used to go to meets in SC...we all get together, hang out, possibly go for a drive, then end up back at someone's house...i just dont have a place to invite people...other than the TKD school...and then someone would have to bring a grill to cook!!! large parking lot though...

well im outta town this weekend too but more than willing to do ANYTHING next weekend. Hey NCFLR you got a downpipe gasket?...i need it. I hate to buy a new one for 60 bucks but I gotta do what I gotta do..its killin' me. Im all about BBQ's..i used to have em all the time when I was in TN with my WRX...the neighbors would hate me with 20-25 evos and subarus lining both sides of the street...too bad im in an apt now. What did I say about East Coast Imports Steve? lol...Unless youre a honda DSM or a simple subaru, they wont have **** to do with you and especially not in a timely manner. Who was the mechanic who worked on your car Simon?
