It's been my experience a thermostat is needed. That's why they put them in the car. Thermostats either work or they don't. They don't cause your problem, install the correct one in is my vote and look somewhere else for the problem.

Yeah the radiator is history already. took it back to advance auto parts.. for the second time lol.
them weak *** fans are out too. I waiting on a koyo w/ an 18" fan so that should about do it. I don't trust them advance auto parts thermostats so i'll go for a factory one.
BTW simon, what BAR level is the cap on them KOYOs? 1.3 or 1.2?

 

Its really hard to get anyone to have a conversation on that forum unless you know or met them..I posted a question about v-mounts and it took like a month for anyone to respond...im rotary afterfire on there...i hardly ever check that board and from the looks of it people only go on there to talk about random crap and IM each other. So anything going on this friday?...seeing if i should plan to come down again.

If you ever on piney green during the day and see my car sitting across from piney green tire and auto, stop in...that is the Taekwondo School I teach. Of course, i'm there M-F from at least 5:15 - 9:15/9:30 and saturday mornings from 9:45 - 1pm or so...feel free to stop in and chat

ill chip in 30 cents for ya simon. so where are we meeting tomorro, home depot or the gas station on western/24. i personally like home depot better because it is quieter, that way we dont have deal with some of the retards that hang out at that gas station every week.
