Even though I'm in Ga, I voted 
I like the 2nd one due to it's refined look compared to the other choices. First one looks out of proportion with the images protrayed in the logo, kind of garish with the SoFla logo part overpowering the entire image. 3rd and 4th one, no comment other than I didn't even consider them whatsoever. I look at the last one and think "Jimmy Buffet club" for some reason. I like Jimmy Buffet and every time we go to Fla we listen to it on the way down to get into the mood of going on vacation to get away but don't know if that applies to everyone that sees the emblem and what they would take from it.

You are so wrong, but I will not keep quite if you talk crap about me that's not true. And your "members can go to my meets if they choose, I don't think you own them.. I welcome all to a drama free zone, but you making fun a man that was hit buy a car in front of me is wrong! shows no class. and you seem to make up lies about not getting note with key chains sent to you.. So sir. Did you ever choose the best 1st gen best 2nd gen and best 3rd gen at the meet? as you agreed you would???

Here's my suggestion on the logo....
Number 2 is the nicest looking one. I would recommend that the second phrase on the lower left (South Florida RX7 Club) be removed as the club name is already stated in bold on the top portion. Then the "Rotor" symbol should be relocated towards the bottom right area of the state as the first logo in the smaller size that it is displayed on logo 2. Hope this helps

This Is What I Think.
I Think That For Now Num 2 Is The Best One But It Would Look Better If We Had A Backround Of Ocean Drive With The Nice Hotels And A 1st, 2nd 3gen And Rx8 In The Front. That Would Be Cool. ALSO WE CAN HAVE OUR OWN FORUM NAMES ON THE T-SHIRTS ON THE BACK WITH OUR OWN RX7 WICH IN MY CASE WOULD BE RX7THEONE AND ON THE BOTTOM THE THIRD GEN. IT MITE BE A LITLE MORE EXPENSIVE BUT WORTH IT.

But here's the thing, you really don't need the the state of Florida in any of those logos. As soon as I'm able to get the picture that I want to get, then I'll do my concept. But overall, you really don't need it. I can understand the point of having the state in them, but you don't want it to be too simple. As far at the current selection goes, the 2nd one is my choice.

well i voted for 3 but if you took the last one and removed the palm trees and just had the center part that would be simple and to the point. I just think that some one will want a sticker made for the back glass or something. would be easy to make and print. faded BGs are a bit harder to do.. mayb not really but might cost more if you wanted signs printed up. personaly i would go with something really simple and to the point.

I sure would like for Directfreaks input on this one.. he is well respected in this community and I value what he has to say. The guy thinks with a clear mind and perspective.
I think the idea of having the forum name on some part of the t-shirt may be nice but not too large... its my opinion that it would look a bit ghetto and who knows it would make me an easier mark for some sharpshooter hitman to get to me

I am working with the president of the SoCal RX-7 club to get a
large, clear copy of the logo, so everyone could see what Iam referring to.
There is a small copy of it on the bottom right of this picture.
Right over the word "Mazda". It looks muuuch better in person.
It is a nice design, that uses Mazda's new "rotor" style logo as well.
Again, I am trying to get what I was referring to. It's a nice simple
logo, that can't be confused with anything else.
Not to mention, it's already been adopted by other RX-Clubs along
the west coast, for nice easy recognition.

I normally dont complain but turn off the call capital letter in your posts...it's annoying and there's no need for it. Use it when your trying to STRESS the importance of what your trying to state.
Good luck with the logo, sounds like your on the right track and it will help organize the club better to have it's own identity. Also is it for only 7's or can the new 8's be a part, what about the old school 3's etc? Is there a rx-8 club already in the southern Florida area?

I like it...
I cropped it out just to see it... well i like it... but do you think it should have the 7 in it also.. that is what i think... but we will leave it up to everyone to vote on it... I am going to ask Carlos to do it up on Adobe Illustrator .. to replicate it...

i understand wat roger is saying about having the 3 generations in the front i agree.. ever since every1 has been talking about making designs having the 3 generations in the front was 1 of the main things but i havent seen any yet... i think if we would add that to the logo it would complete it
