I posted this in the 1st gen section. Ive got some in-car video of some EP and FP races at VIR too.

Here is some in-car video from the EP Porsche 914 of Erik Madsen, he started 20th I believe and finished in 2nd place. His car sure does handle good down the back straight

Awesome video. I almost felt as if I was playing a video game. That dude is a great driver too. He came from the back of the pack to place second. Awesome! If I could have watch his feet this would be a complete instructional vid on road racing. LOL Thank you Camocarl! If you have anymore videos please share.

 

i have quite a few pix if your interested. alot of them focus on Bob Neal's car. also i think i can get ahold of the race on speed(yay tivo!)it was interesting to see the rest of the race that happened away from where i was.(i was sitting by madness, so i missed the whole incident on the front straight)

Yeah I saw that race when speed aired it at the beginning of the month. There was a lot of action in that one. I think demolition derby drivers should take notes on this race. The last laps after the second restart were great even if the 2nd gen did get taken out. Probably one of the most exciting races I have ever watched.
