How much of those cars are even left from the original?

Look like tube frame monstosities to me...

I don't think it should either. An rx7 is an rx7 period. Granted if you put the Ls1 in an RX7 and give it 450 whp and use a 13b with 450whp, the LS1 will most likely be the more stout car, being as it will produce more torque. I'm not trying to start an arguement, just facts. I like both motors, and I like the car. I see no arguement.

I watched the vid for the first time, it was pretty sweet to see racecars go head to head. Now a big mistake is to call that car a "Rx-7", and the other a "Falcon". These both are very clearly tube frame race cars, with no factory suspension or chassis peices, and fiberglass bodies. So if they are both tube frame race breed equipment, its pretty clear to me the 12turbo is shoved waaaaaay back in the chassis due to its compact size, and proved the lower CG and better lower weight was from the freaking ENGINE!!!! The V8 racecar was heavier due to the beefer construction for torque, and cast iron V8! Yeah the rotary won, it sounded better too, image that.

Oh here is a link I found- http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...8pushrodmullet
