Nice FD! How much boost are you pushin on the stockers for 311hp?

I take it Turbonetics ST is a turbo kit for the 350z...?? Is it a twin or single set-up? 396hp isn't very impressive to me but it looks like it's pretty quick....

By buddies got a 450rwhp 350Z, but it's heavy as hell and so it's slow as ****. Two of my friends, one with a very modded WRX and the other with a lightly modded Camaro SS both smoked him. My cars faster than both theirs so I'm sure I'd smoke him as well.

I'm not sure how he smoked you so bad? You know the weight on that Z by any chance?

 

He definitley *did* not get walked bad at all. The 350Z was pushing almost 100 more whp and the FD was hanging right there w/ him. Granted the Z was pulling, but not that hard. I was surprised at how the FD really hung w/ the Z, this is where the FD prob has the advantage w/ its very low Cd.

FD-->2789 lbs
350Z-->3190 lbs

wtf??? he got stomped on! there was no "hangin right there".... the race lasted 10 seconds, and he was already at least 5 car lengths ahead.... thats a BIG loss!

but it was a deserved loss.... when you go against a better car, its hard to win! so there is no shame in losing like that! it was almost garunteed unless the driver of the z was a very shitty driver

im running 12.5 pounds of boost. He was also power shifting which give him an advantage. Its the 99 spec lip on my car. I knew before i raced hiim he would beat me, but we still went just for fun.
