lol..... you were there too...... that was a fun day! the only thing i hated was having to walk back and forth from the drags to the drift.... after a while, i just stayed at the drift section.... did you notice there wasnt 1 fc anywhere at the event

in case you would rememeber tattooes, i was the guy with all the horror movie characters tattooed on my arm

 

lol. nope didnt see ya. yea the heat was killer on saturday too. i slept 12 hours sat. night i was sooo worn out. and yea walking back and forth was b.s

 

120 degrees is never good, but what did you guys think of the event and more specifically the Jumbotron show (Big TV screen near the end of the track). I run the board with Belle 1 communications and it would be great to get some feedback.

 

actually, that was a great addition... i was watching it almost more than the actual racing... it was good to see what was going on at the starting line

 

yea that was cool. just needed either a bigger screen,or maybe a couple of them scattered about. when you were on the 1st corner bleachers it was hard to see in the daytime cause it was so far away.

Also, I didn't know the BRS car was a drift car.

 

no... not an ls1...... its a nissan titan v8... we didnt see it run. due to it not being finished... but it was nice to look at!

if your talking about the pick fd, then your not alone! i was suprised to see it there also! but they did say it really wasnt a "drift" car, but more or less a multi-task car.... it actually sucked at drifting, mainly because they didnt have time to do much suspension adjusments... it qualified, but broke a throttle cable before it could run
