Leaf Blower Turbo
Wow... Thinking about strapping one on the GXL. LOL
If you think about it, it's the essence(sp?) of forced induction. I also like the music choice.

This is the new Craftsman ELECTRIC powered leaf blower just off their website. Just think instant 220 mph intake flow from a dead stop. Pretty much forced induction without the intercooler. Just stick it off the top of your hood, and have a switch to turn it on and off. The only thing I can think that is con is the weight. Maybe an extra 15lbs?

No reason it shouldnt work, provided the blower moves more air than the engine.
Naturally aspirated engines are just that....fed by atmospheric pressure pushing into the engine. If you can increase the pressure going into the intake, youll make more power. The reason the Ebay electric turbos dont work is because they move less volume of air than the engine breathes on it own.The trick is moving more air with the blower than the engine can move by itself.Once you "overrun" the engine's breathing ability, youll start to generate more intake manifold pressure and more HP will be made.
Funny, assinine and dangerous standing in front of the vehicles, but funny non the less!
