You are correct. The badge direction and the rear antenna placement is located on the proper side. This image was not mirrored but is a US-Spec replica with accurate detail. Unfortunately the vehicle in that ad has a moon roof, the Spirit R line did not have a moonroof feature, twin-bubble top only. The color of the wheels also suggest it to be a Type-A replica, which comes with the Recaro red racing seats, the Mother's vehicle has standard FD3S seats and no rears.

The Spirit R was available in FIVE exterior trim colors: Titanium Gray Metallic (exclusive color for Spirit R series), Innocent Blue Mica, Pure White, Brilliant Black, and Vintage Red

Only 1,500 Spirit R's were produced.

Hold up.... For what it's worth..... It's hard to tell from my scan of the ad, but you can clearly tell from the hard copy that the badge is NOT backwards.

 

I outlined all the info in my post. The car isnt reversed, but a fairly well done replica. The seats and moonroof give away to the fact it is a replica. The seats are standard FD3S seats but are black, not the vibrant red that the Spirit R TypeB/TypeC's were offered with.
