Same here, my EG with a H22 in 2000 was fun, then I felt I needed a real car and went with RX7's.

 

yea i blew the motor in my rx7 and sold it for only 200 less than what i bought it for running, so i did this h22 swap, its kinda fast, i only ran a 13.9 but hang side by side with low 13 second hondas, i have no lsd so traction is a problem

 

i had a fully built ls/vtec turbo i couldnt tune it up to a full tune because a had major tracton problems

i use to own a honda now i own a 7 but still wouldnt min takin a step back either. hondas are less of a headache

and yea the fd in the avatar was my FD, i loved it and it was definitely more of a car than my honda, but when the motor blew and I couldn't find the money to fix it how i wanted it, i put it for sale on this site one night, not expecting to sell it for what i was asking but the guy came the next take to take it away, i was very sad watching it go but i figured it was for the best.

On a happier note, i make like mid to high 14's on a blown motor in a 91 n/a, shoulda kept the 7... lolol

this is sad. second time taking my car to the track ran a 14.2 with 75psi on the rear rotor, 85 psi on the front rotor. and origionally a shitty tuning and baldass tires. after a few adjustments and mods i should be in low 13's and i wont have spent more than $5500 plus the cost of the car

 

in the video, did the engine rebuild light come on?

 

I just got owned by a civic the other week.
THis guy had a hatch vtec --- turbo, though. ANd i was only running 6psi out my BNR stage 4.

I didnt think he ws turbo till we raced and i didnt get another chance.
