Would a rtek 2.1 and BNR Stg. 4 be a Viable Combination?

I'm most likely going to be picking up a rtek 2.1 for my s4 within the month. I really want to run 720/1000cc injectors, and see what kind of boost levels I can hit using a wideband O2 and the rtek.

My questions are as follows:

1.) When does the afm on a s4 become the limit? I.e., has anyone broke the 350whp. mark with one with the car remaining driveable?

2.) Can I run a 720cc/1000cc injector combo without completely ruining the driveway of the car? The car is not a daily driver, it is a weekend warrior, so a degree of roughness is just fine.

3.) Does anyone have a 2.1 with a BNR stage 4, or the 720/1000cc injector combo?

I'm running 680x1000 with hybrid turbo, made 230hp at ~7-9psi. I think you could do a stage 4 but it is probably getting close to the limits of the RTEK.

Solareon did 323 HP with 700/1000 with a bnr stage 2.

I'm pretty happy with the RTEK as it's easy to use and doesn't require rewiring and initial setup to start/run the car. It does have some downfalls as the timing maps have to be inputted manually, and doing it takes like an hour or 2 sitting there clicking buttons on the palm. But there are some maps floating around that give you a great starting point and are safer than factory maps and they 'should' be fine for higher boosting.

Good luck, I'd say go for it! Some might disagree but I say Push the limits and do more with less!

Do you get some kind of instruction manual for creating timing tables? Where can I find these maps? Will the transition be terrible going with a 720/1000cc combo? The car is not going to be daily driven in any sense of the phrase. I might put 2000 miles on it a year tops. I will be getting a wideband and have tuned with an afc/wideband o2 before, but on a different car (eagle talon).

Probably OK with those injectors.

Info on timing...

I have a bnr stage 3, rtek 2.1, and 750/1200 injectors. Im running 12psi and im sure making atleast 315-320whp right now. You will be fine with your setup. Ima try to put some meth on mine and run about 16psi through it.

I've since sold this car (buying a house) but really felt as tho the AFM was limiting up top. If not in term of airflow but in what the ecu can manage. The AFM readings peak and then jump up in stages after like 732. Which I would assume is based on the ecu compensating for RPM and boost.

Another issue I noticed is that the map sensor on the rtek doesn't read super fast so during a rapid rise into boost you need to make sure you monitor the fuel x & y values to see what cell it used during its calculation. While tuning mine on the dyno the dyno map sensor read about 6 psi more versus what the rtek showed me until the boost leveled off.

The car drove fine at the power level. Only thing that was sketchy was cruise control because the computer goes WOT and overshoots constantly

I assume you still had the restrictor pill in the MAP hose?

Yes. It helped improve the low end driveability. Did not remove it though when I got the latest rtek chip (2.1.2 iirc)

It wasn't the restrictor pill specifically but a piece of omp line jammed into the hose.

You shouldn't remove it but it sounds like the orifice is a little too small.
