What sort of rwhp to expect.

Hello,

I am new to the Rtek. I was thinking the 2.0 may be a good ecm for my project I am doing. I have a 88 vert. with a S4 T2 engine installed. I want some more power so I am looking at going with a 3inch open exhaust and a BNR stage 3 or 4 turbo. I am looking to run 14psi on a full set of 720cc injectors. I already have a supra pump and a street ported engine. I am also still running the stock top mount IC.

Could you guys also tell me what you think and what kind of numbers you are running with your mods.
Thanks very much

about 300 with those injectors, once the issues are worked out with the 2.0 that is with a stage 3 BNR. with a stage 4 you will need some more fuel and better intake cooling, then maybe 400 to the wheels is possible.

is it safe to run that much boost on a stage 3 BNR with just that much injector/on a stock ic?

doubt you will safely be able to run that boost with either of those turbos with that injector setup.

Well I can always swap in the 1000cc primary and 16000cc secondary injectors. But there would be a lot of leaning out and ideal and lower rpms. Thats why I was wondering if you could change the injector duty. Becouse the stock injector duty is 50 some precent if you increased it to 80% your not lossing reliability and getting much better fuel flow.

as rtek is now, it only has about +/- 40% fuel adjustment. I think they are going to increase it to 55%?

Thats just fuel corrections. I was talking more of injector duty cycles %'s.

that may have been their old figure but it is still being worked on and numbers adjusted around. i don't think the corrections were adequate for upgraded turbo people and it was causing issues so they allowed more adjustability.

I know on mine its still 15% and the last time I saw news is that they where going to up it to 25%, change the timing adjustments to map based and some other stuff. Its still going to be a few months before its released.

ok i have a couple questions. i am at the moment in the process of finishing up my car my current mods are almost the same as listed above i have an 88 tII with a large street port, a bnr stg 4 turbo, fd uim and npr fmic and rtek 2.0 as for fuel im currently running a walbro 255 and some 750 secondary injectors. i would like to run more then 8 lbs of boost on the turbo but at the moment i feel that running any more boost would be unsafe on my fuel mods i will in the near future be running duel walbros in a parellel setup. i was wondering what are the largest injectors i can use on this version of the 2.0? can i use 1600s? i mean i know at the moment i wont be abled to get much ajustibility out of them but i like the rtek enough to the point that i can wait for the update to gain more control over the fuel. i guess my question is at the moment will it be possible to run my 750's in the primaries and 1600's in the secondaries and be able to run it safly. the reason im asking this question is thats my cars almost done i just have to run my intercooler piping and its finished. i have already modified my stock harness for the fd uim and i remove all of the unessisary **** i will not be needing on the harness such as emissions related stuff and some other things, but it took 3 full days to recondition and mod the stock harness to the way i wanted it and i would really like to know if the rtek will be able to handle my current setup or what i wana do before the update come out witch i also would like to know when that would be hopefully soon b/c i really dont wana sell my rtek to go standalone b/c of how simple and understanding it is to the novice tuner. anyway sorry for the long *** post i just would really like to know what i am in for once the ic piping is done. thanx for any help

had mine dyno'd a few weeks back, it made about 249whp on the stock turbo, running on wastegate spring

This is with above mods, but with fuel at +15% in positive boost (using the 720/720 preset), timing pulled back to 20 degrees at 100% load and blended with default map down to about 50% load. AFR's about 12, boost peaked at 9psi, down to about 7psi at redline

Here is where the 15% limitation comes in.. if i wanted to add any more fuel, i would have to switch to the 550/720 preset, which would make it run rich when secondaries are off (where most driving happens) even with -15% correction
