A rev limiter would be nice...

A rev limiter option would be really nice.

Just some feedback from a very satisfied Rtek owner. I've had the rtek 2 since it came out and the 2.1 I have now works great for me. Was just thinking to to my self the other day that a limiter would be nice since my engine like most of our rotaries, revs rather quick and with boost behind it I can be at red line within a second, something built into the ecu that I can adjust that can keep me from taking it over the edge would be nice. Otherwise, great product, keep up the good work.

PS: how about that MAF delete feature you've been working on for over a year? Perhaps some laptop software?

Thanks

I had a 2.1 last year and it would bounce at 9000 so there is a limit somewhat

hmm well my engine is setup for those kind of rpm numbers to be sustained for a period of time, but my boost begins to fade after 7K meaning 9K rpm is more for show on my engine. Something like an adjustable limiter from 6-9 would be nice with another little slider bar on my pda in something like ecu settings or tune. I've probably bounced off 9 a few times, but its not something I'd want to punish my engine with haha

I think you can use 2 msd's and use the adjustable rev limiter?

I like having the breathing room rather than smacking my head on a ceiling. Wouldn't it suck to be rapping it out around a track corner at 95mph then have it start to buck before you hit the straight?

An adjustable rev limiter would be great. Also if they could work in a two-step that would be even more awesome.

Hilarious! Chris, check out this thread at #14. That'll give you an idea of where things stand w/Rtek.
