I ordered it and indeed have it. It has been installed into my car and is all ready to fire up. HOWEVER the pos palm i ordered off of Ebay only just arived yesterday, and of course it didnt work......Looks link mid next week at the earliest to get a new one.

It is really amazing that none of the new palms available will support this. I have tried looking around at all the local electronics stores and not one willl work with the Rtec. I cant even find one at a pawn shop!!!

I bought the 2.0 a while back and it installed easy as pie, the car started right up and runs better now than it did before, I lowered the stage point for the secondaries and will install tge 720's as secondaries shortly. The datalogging is nice, its like real time info on all your cars sensors, error codes can be read and it gets rid of the fuel cut, also the timing retradation is a plus. This ecu worked great for me, I can't wait to hook up my wideband o2 meter and fine tne with that..

I know it's been a while since this post was made, has anyone else since installe dthis ecu?

How does your car start up and run better now than before? The RTek doesn't change any idle procedures, cranking, etc...the stock ECU setting are used up until around 2000rpm, no?

And no...it's not realtime.

All that I was implying is that installation was easy, there was no need for elaborate setup procedures, just two check boxes and the car was running just fine. The stock setting are a big bonus for people like me who appreciate the plug and play aspect, I'm not a EMS tuner, I don't have access to a dyno. It's nice to be able to run the car safely within a 1/2hr of getting the ecu back.

Also I had done other maintenace such as clean throttle body and lube various this and that, fuel filter change and etc, while ecu was being chipped. The car definately runs better than before, maybe just the tune up and a little placebo but it seems to be crisper and rev smoother.
The RTek doesn't change any idle procedures, cranking, etc...the stock ECU setting are used up until around 2000rpm, no?
I thought that idle/cranking/starting issues were affected by installation of rtek7 2.0, such as when they delete the AWS, the car won't have the accelerated idle when started cold, also they alter the cranking procedure so that when the gas pedal is floored there is no fuel, to clear floods.

Out of the box, the rtek mimicks stock setting but I beleive that setting can be altered throughout the entire rpm range, nit just beyond 2,000rpms.
And no...it's not realtime.
It must be real close, what are we talking here, a delay of a couple miliseconds maybe, for a ll intents and purposes I can think of this is close enough for me. I thinks it's neat to be able to log whats going on in your motor under boost, different rpms, load, hook up a wideband and log your A/F ratios, just gives you an inside kind of view as it's happening.

It's very close to realtime, yes :-P Just a smidge off! Nothing that *really* matters. About .5 seconds or so. I just hate the word "realtime" when its not truely "realtime"..but what is?

another thing that I noticed when dealing with the Rtek7 2.0 was the support from the people over at Digital Tuning, I spoke with Mike Montalvo for quite sometime before I decided to make the $400 purchase. They were always willing to answer even the most far out questions I had for them. They took the time and effort to explain to me why their product is a good deal, they easily sold me on it, something that Microtech and Haltech couldn't do.

I love my Rtek7 2.0. Thanks DTI!!

The delay is definitely not anywhere near half a second. Maybe .5ms.

What sensors do you see with a 1/2 second delay?

I've tried to read throughall the crap about harnesses being better than one another and got sick and just skipped to the end. I know that their are people who've purchased and would like them to respond with mods and how its actually working out. Also, the people who've exceeded the preset's for the injectors let me know how that worked also. Thanks

Both S4 NA and S5 NA are in beta currently which should complete shortly (don't have an exact date at this time but I can say both are going well). I've been running the S5 NA on my 90GXL for a couple of months now. While the beta's are in progress the S4 TII is being updated to give more flexibility/range in timing control (MAP based for load sensor instead of AFM based), control over starting fueling as well as back fitting some of the new features from the S4 NA (another analog input, rpm switch output, wider range of AFC to allow tuning over idle). S5 TII has been started and will go quicker than the previous (the 4th is easier than the 1st!).

Dito, I need the fuel adjustment for the start bad!

Right now I have to flip a switch when its hot, which cuts the "starter switch" to the CPU, other wise no starty.

How Much HP do you think can be had safely on v2.0? 300-350? Thats what I'm shooting for w/ to4b hybrid and 4x 800cc injectors... :-?

HOW MUCH HP ARE YOU RUNNING ON RTEK? (or what have you beat drag racing?)

it's too early to be asking that question, full power potential with the Rtek 2.0 and upgraded turbos has yet to be determined because of its current limitations that are being worked out.
