the Palm is a M130.I can't get it to Hotsync,,(hot sync cable is DIY Official cable.haha!)

serial or USB?

Is the Hotsync manager running?

If you right click the hotsync icon in the system tray, is the proper connection method checked?

If you are using serial, do you have the com port set in the hotsync manager?

I have the Cradle hooked to the Computer by teh USB port in the side.
I looked at the Hot Sync manager and it has usb checked off.
I tried everythig there.
I read a little more into it and it "looks like' the Darn thing needs an IR reader so I can sync it.Wierd.
By the way,I tried the Handspring Visor hooked to the laptop and it Hot Sync'ed right away.
So,it lays in the way that the M130 is to communicate with the laptop( I am assuming).

Did you install the M130 USB drivers? These things are far from plug-n-play. I posted in the other thread, but I'll copy here..

The easiest and most reliable way is to sync via serial. All this USB crap is very unreliable and has to be installed in a very particular manner or the drivers won't install properly. Also when you start mixing Palm Desktop installs from different manufacturers, you are looking for trouble.

Save yourself the headache, buy a $20 USB to serial port adapter for your computer. Install the drivers. Then set the hotsync manager to sync over serial. I guarantee it will work.

Success!!!

I was able to get the darn thing to finally Hot Sync.
The problem was in the Palm Pilot itself. The settings were just screwed up.
Thanks, Turbo Dude!..I appreciate the help.
Now I am off to install my Ecu!.Cheers Styx!~
