Rtek Connecting via bluetooth???
Connecting via bluetooth???
OK so my palm has built in bluetooth, and I was wondering if anyone has any Ideas on how to talk to the ECU with a bluetooth signal. I found a couple of serial to bluetooth adaptors and figured that i should be able to just put one on the end of the ecu serial and that should do it. My only worries (other than it not working and wasting money) is getting interference from other BT devices out there.
All because the stupid palm sync cable sux so bad!!!!!

We have done tests with BT. It will work, but your battery will die in an hour if your lucky and the datalogging rate will be about half the speed it is now.
You will need a special build from us as well. The PocketLOGGER software needs to know to use the BT port instead of the serial port.

damn that's too bad. The battry thing might not be too bad, but the data logging rate would suck. My cable got broken and now its REALLY hard to get the thing to read right. Oh well back to plan A, I'll just order another cable from you when the 2.1 ships
