Just like the title says.

What are you realistically hoping to run this year?

Somewhere in the 8's is the "goal" for this year. Although that is the goal i would still be happy to end up in the 9.1-9.0 range. I'm shooting to be the fastest street RX7 which if i'm not mistaken is faster than a 9.1??

I think with a raceweight of 2350-2400lbs and about 600rwhp i should be pretty close. Remember though i'll be auto before anyone says that it can't be done. I want to put down 600 through the auto so if that happens then i don't see a problem with high 8's to low 9's.

Time will tell......

Saruwatari went 8.9XX before he retired his 3rd gen.

The auto is definately the way to go! Are you still planning on running the Mazda Automatic?

****! I totally forgot about Adams time. I was thinking Ari was the fastest so far. Oh well then my goal for high 8's shouldn't be such a stretch since he (Adam) did the porting and stuff for my motor.

Mazda auto all the way! Parts are starting to come together and i've got 5 sitting here already. Can't have too many extra parts. I still need to get a couple more motors. I've got 2 extra's but want another 1......and 2 would be even better. That way i won't have any excuses to not finish a race.

You'll have to let me know how that transmission works for you. Did you ever get a price together for the built transmission, transbrake and stall?

Anything in the 12's @ 115mph+ for my FC would be nice.

Later this year I hope to get into the 10s@130+ in my first gen, but traction issues will most likely put it into the 11s or 12s. It will be my first time dragging a high powered FI RWD car, who knows what will happen with 400+rwhp and 2200lbs.

Hopefully I can work my OTHER FC into the 15s (NA) hahahahahahaha.

I'd be happy with a low 11 second pass on pump gas, with nothing breaking.

That would be a good thing, wouldn't it? Without breaking! I'll second that.....
9 second street car wouldn't be a bad thing either.....

If everything works out i would like to lay down a few mid 9 second passes on pump before going through the motor and painting the car. Then i am shooting for mid 8s.

It's probably going to be in the low $3k range with transbrake and converter. Don't quote me but that's in the ballpark right now. I'm looking at having at least one done and going down the track in the next month.....(crosses fingers and toes).

I'm doing it personally but it has a good chance of becoming a VWR item. People would much rather do business with a shop than just some random guy right?
