Waste gate.. Tial, precision, or?

Tired of trying to figure this synapse out in conjunction with ebc. Going to something simply. Tial is a no brainer but what about others? Must work with my v band set up.

I've always used Tial and had nothing but great results. They're supposed to flow the best.

im going through teh same dramas myself, i originally was going for a 60mm tial, but then i thought a 50mm turbosmart would be good,
My dramas is the 50mm turbosmart will fit same spot my old 48mm turbosmart did, if i go the tial i "think" iwill have to cut the gate pipe off the manifold and welda bigger pipe and flange for teh tial 60mm gate

now there is only about 100 bucks difference so its not a cost thing , but 10mm in gate valve size, and i dont know what would be better for me running 25 to 35 and a top of 40 psi boost on methanol
A local racer was using a tial 44mm gate and pushing 40 to 50 psi boost with roo16 leaded race gas, so im really stumped at what to do

My brain is screaming keep it simple and just bolt on the upgraded 50mm turbosmak gate, but sensible brain is saying buy the quality brand and not the bent valve brand and modify my manifold to make it fit (unless its the same flange v band ) , although i never had a valve issue with turbosmak

This is probably gonna sound nuts, but the Tial 44mm supposedly outflows most 60mm wastegates. Its all I run. Most of the big hp Supras run the Tial 40mm

it doesnt sounf nuts to me as i have persoanlly seen my friends rx3 running the tial 44 with a gt47 and 800hp on roo16 , its just my brain stuck on traditional logic haha
Even the shop that sold me the gtx45 went ape **** when i said im not running a intercooler
Ahh **** it im gonna ditch tradition try the turbosmak unit, saves me having to ask my workshop to mod the manifold

Keep them there as they don't belong in cars.

No real problems just complex how you have to route the lines when using a ebc. I want simplicity! I only swaped from Tial to the synapse as I have boost creep and wanted to see if it would help but it was the same.

your creeping because of improper wastegate position or too small..

Run a 60mm Tial and you should be fine..

I agree 100%. I ran a similar mani but short runner and same turbo and gate and never had any creep. Now long runner and not sure but gate placement might be changed. But having such bad creep keeps me out of the boost on the street hince maybe why my motor has lasted so long. Once I turn it up over 24-25 area then its pretty solid.

Sorry Enzo, I didnt think to call you on the gate. Promise next time I need a part I will call you! Since my turbo kit and exhaust came from Sean, I tried him and Ray since he is building me a lock out and tuned my car so I bug him from time to time on tuning issues. But both are notorious for not anwsering there phones!

For reference the Tial and Synapse vbands dont match. You will have cut and weld the tial onto the manifold.
Synapse is a little confusing to hook up but once its done they are good wastegate.

Even after wasting all day configuring them they still suck.
I like to run my vacuum lines on my Tial, tell my ecu how much boost to run and be done.
Guess I'm spoiled.

Yeah Im pretty sure they made flanges interchangeable.
So after realizing they suck it's easy to go back to Tial.

The synape flange does not have a lip on it for the tial valve seat to sit in. I have been down this road before

Thinking about it if you started with the tial flange then you should be ok. Its if you started with the Synapse flange on there then you would have issues.

Here is a pic of the tial up to the synapse flange.
