I have to give it to him. Roan had issues after issues 3 days before the race. He mentioned the night of the race he was on the phone with Ludwig trying to figure out some ignition issues. He then went to get the trailer and there was a problem with the trailer. Get to the track to mount the slicks and they are directional slicks and the person mounted them on the rim wrong, alternator belt shredded, just all sorts of really weird stuff.

He pulled an all nighter and got it all done. In the end a 9.50 is the result and everyone who was there says the car has a 9.00-9.20.

The car weighs over 3200lbs with driver and has full interior with AC and PS and music! Here is a pic I took after the run.

He has got to have one of if not the quickest true street FD's out there!

Big props to him and the car!

Sounds like he wasnt no lift shifting on 2-3 and 3-4.

Congrats again Roan. Anthony in the pic I can't see a roll cage. Does it have a full 9 second cage?

Roan and I have debated for years about a cage. I begged him to simply put a roll bar if he did not want a full cage. He set a goal and wanted to do it without a cage and he did. We were expecting a 9.7-9.8, not a 9.5.

His goals scare me because he really does what he has to do to achieve them! I won't post his next goal but you can only imagine what he has in mind with the 3 rotor.

Mike I was thinking about the same thing. I don't remember another FD like his that ran the time he ran. There really are no hidden secrets, it's a full bodied car with nothing done to lighten it. Ernie was at the track and wanted to drive, if he did it would have been a 9.3 pass lol. Do you guys know of any other FD in this trim that ran that fast? I think he has the record.
