Also, you can spot the guys who have removed their sway bars when they launch. If the back end is flat but the front end is twisted, they have removed it. That and their suspension is dialed in properly.

If you're drag racing..... remove your sway bar.

That car belongs to Tony from T and R Racing. He gets high 1.3s low 1.4 consistently. That is not launching on a 2 step or boost.

Wonder what that wing is costing him at the far end...

neit_inf, yes, you should remove both sway bars. They provide no benefit if you're not turning corners. The front bar is just easier to remove and weighs 3 times as much. Removing weight from the front of the car helps with weight transfer on the launch.

I was getting my best 60ft times with worn out stock suspension.....I guess I should have bought the HKS Hiperdrag coilovers instead of the Tiens

so the best grag racing set up on stock suspension is .. worn out front shocks and spring stock height and no F&R sway bars ??

how would this compare to a full suspension upgrades (coil overs sway bars links ect ect..?) in 60 ft times ??

going to the track soon and looking to get the best results before i go with a new suspension...

Well, I'm sure the HKS hyperdrag setup is much better! But hey....it works.
