Or a set of slide throttle bodies... No butterfly in the way

Pure uninterupted air flow.

I'm not sure yet. I will start with a smaller one and go from there.

I know, but like I said, I'm already set up for this carb and I got a killer deal. Plus I want to prove that you can still go fast with a carb. I will eventually go to fuel injection, but we'll see.

I got my own ideas, but I can't share yet.

Brent. Thats cool that you are doing that. It'll be interesting to see how you make out..

I believe you should make good HP with a single throttle body. I remember testing the mopar all motor drag car years ago and overall HP was pretty much the same between itb's and plenum..

Here's my new flywheel and clutch setup. The guy who makes the Terminator II carbs also makes these bitchin flywheel clutch setups. www.geersengineering.com
Call him for prices on both. He has N/A and TII flywheels and has single and dual clutch setups to your specs. This setup is very similar to the Mcleod setup but is more reasonable. He actually uses the Mcleod diaphrams as you can see. And Brent yes, the TII uses all Weber IDA jets and emulsion tubes.

Ok small update. I had a little set back because whoever had the car before me butchered the front subframe motor mount plates. There was a 2"x2" hole for the motor mount bolt! So I removed the subframe and welded on two new plates and moved the engine back as far as I could for weight transfer and clearance of the oil pan and re drilled the holes. She's tight as a virgin now. Also, the rubber crap between the subframe and body of the car was wasted so I tossed that crap and made some aluminum one's. This took alot of time becasue the studs on the body were not square.

On top of all that the adaptor plate that Liberty sent back with the new re drilled holes for a TII bellhousing is ify. The new holes that they re drilled are very very close to the old one's and my father being an engineer and all said he doesn't like it and want's Liberty to make a new one. So we'll see how that flies- Enzo, I may end up buying yours-check your pm.

So now I will be starting to cut the trans tunnel out so this beast of a trans. will fit.

Ok, I got the trans. tunnel cut out for the new Liberty. Wish I had a plasma cutter instead of my cuttoff wheel. This would have saved me about 3 hours! It's hard to see from the pic but you can see all the holes in the adaptor plate. There are several holes that are really close to one anther. One was .020" from the other.

And here's the picture of my motor mounts and if you look closely the aluminum spacers between the subframe and body. All in all I got alot done this weekend. Should have the trans. installed next weekend. Then I have to make a new transmission crossmember, tans. tunnel cover and shorten the driveshaft and then finally I will be ready to hit the track.

Probably never because I run in a stock chassis all motor class. That is a very nice looking RX2 though. Do you have any info on it? And what's wrong with the way my RX2 looks?

Thanks Teddy you too.

Update- I finally got my second adaptor plate yesterday and my new motor mount so the transmission will be installed this weekend. Then I have to make a crossmember and then get my driveshaft shortened with the new yoke and them I'm ready to hit the pavement again finally.

Looking good mate, keep up the good work

The Grey RX2 is a Sydney car, 13BPPT from memory. Can't remember the blokes name offhand (Michael ...) but he owned another car that was in the SDR stable before this one.

Also on the carb front (for everyone else as I'm sure I spotted you in the thread Jay), Axe Racing ran a 10.4 something a few weeks ago with a TII carb, not stock chassis though but the fastest NA 13B pass in Oz.
